Richmond Bridge is a lasting symbol of Tasmania’s convict heritage. The sandstone arches of Australia’s oldest known large stone arch bridge have spanned Tasmania’s Coal River since its completion in 1825. Built by convict labour, the Richmond Bridge reminds us of the forced migration that contributed to the development of Australian society. Richmond Bridge was included in the National Heritage List on 25 November 2005.
My German Shep Klaus, just kinda playing around with him with my 50mm f1.7, he can make a fun model :) I went for the B&W because I really wanted to bring out a sense of emotion and drama in him. See more of my work on my website at http://jdebordphoto.com

Boy and girl in a heart with an urban background. Young urban love, night, moon and city background. Teenager love at nigth. This is vector art.
She is not a person that would smile all the time. But when she does, even a little bit…
Applied alpha layer to photo with leaves in it and removed background with erase tool, pasted it to photo of eyes and anchored it. Used glow, and sparkle effects, then added nova effect to each eye Slightly adjusted color and contrast with GiMP2. All artwork is © Rhonda L. Hall, All Rights Reserved. Our outside cat, he keeps guard but in this shot it looks as if he’s daring me to try him.
“To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude.” ~Albert Schweitzer
Celes was a stray cat, living in my back yard last summer. When fall came, and it started getting colder outside, we took her in to live with us. / She unfortunately did not get along with my other (4) cats, so after a few months, we found her a good home with my bf’s sister. She is now happy and we are glad to be able to still visit her. :) More products at my Zazzle gallery
For all of you that’s been there, you’ll recognize this but for all the others, this is in Moab on one of many hikes you can do in Arch National Park. All these different Arches are quite impressive and unique in their own way offereing great view and sometimes, you wonder how these things are still up. Figured I’d show this one, a little different perspective on things. / Cheers / again, better seen full screen

My cat looking proud in the backyard. Taken with a my Canon 50mm prime f1.4 lens which is oh so cool. This was a bit of an experiment with the adjustment brushes which are a new feature in Adobe Lightroom 2, no photoshop needed.

Featured in Urban Wildlife March 1, 2009. A common raccoon curiously walking straight at my camera wondering what I had. I actually had strangers yelling at me to get up and walk away because he was getting a little to close, but I just had to stay and take his pic! This photo was captured from the parking lot of the Floral Clock in niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Mallard duck The mallard is a large and heavy looking duck. It has a long body and a long and broad bill. The male has a dark green head, a yellow bill, is mainly purple-brown on the breast and grey on the body. The female is mainly brown with an orange bill. It breeds in all parts of the UK in summer and winter, wherever there are suitable wetland habitats, although it is scarcer in upland areas. Mallards in the UK may be resident breeders or migrants – many of the birds that breed in Iceland and northern Europe spend the winter here. / Where to see them It is the commonest duck and most widespread so you have a chance of seeing it just about anywhere where there is suitable wetland habitat, even in urban areas. / When to see them All year round. / What they eat Seeds, acorns and berries, plants, insects and shellfish.

Vintage styled beauty, Abigail, twirls in the snow. Her beauty and grace, her innocence can all be seen in this lovely photo I had the pleasure of taking.
Was going though my old images. This shot was taken two years ago and it caught my eye. As I started to play with it I couldn’t help but see the sad expression in this beautiful animal’s face as I cropped it. I used orton to just make it so soft and precious. I’ll have to admit, this is one of my favorite images and will probably hang someplace in our home. / / Hope you like!
