Cusco, Peru´! El Cafe Extra is the place I like more in Cusco ! / Nice and quite welcomes tourists and local people ! / There are stories about Pablo Neruda and Che Guevara enjoying the nice coffee here when they visited the city…!!! / Not sure it´s true, but what I´m sure is that coffee here, locally produced, really taste great..! / Mr Castro is one of the many regulars, he is nice and friendly although he gets deep in thoughts sometimes ! / I love his face and expression! this is one of the many shot I took during one of the many breakfasts at El Cafe´ Extra !

THIS IMAGE WAS ROLLING AROUND IN MY HEAD and I had to get him OUT! Over the next 6 months I was mystified I met two men that were dead ringers for my painting…one ,no joke 6’4” from New Orleans and the other guy 5’ 7” from Hungary…. / later I noticed a 3rd guy. / He just favored the painting….I kept that one.

One of the jobs I have had in my young life has been as a self employed driver and I mainly drove for different feature film companies. One particular film I was working on was called ‘Room with a view’. You may have heard of it, I believe it was around 1985 or so? I was trying to make a few extra quid/bucks so I was asking some of the extras if they wanted to get some shots done for their portfolios and this lovely young lady said she would. I don’t know her name or whether she went on to make something of herself but I love this shot of her in costume for the film. The shot was taken on my Canon AE1 35mm camera about 22 years ago and scanned into the computer. One of about 200 extras on a film shot in Dublin cerca 2000 which I have never ever seen called “The Escapist” starring Johnny Lee Miller and Andy Serkis. / I also was an extra and was as dirty as this poor sod who was from Scotland as far as I remember. He might have been called Ian? I’ll post to the Scots are Coming guys and see if anybody recognises him. Taken with an Olympus Miu which has been my favourite ever camera. I got the film via Amazon at last. Well. Hmm. By high standards; an awful film. By TV standards an entertaining if unbelievable (plot holes, suspension of disbelief, no sense) hour and a whatever with an angry Johhny Lee. Best bit was an almost murder in the prison showers.

Ms Alien was dashing to the beauty pageant in outer space, but her lousy driving brought her into an awful accident, there, her little spaceship dropped onto our planet. She was lucky, as soon as got out of her broken vehicle, she bumped into Mr Me.
