This is an original linoleum print from my Strange Scenes Series. The images in this series are inspired form actual incidence or moments in time that I personally witnessed. I live near Carnation Farm that was a working dairy for a period of time. I saw these cows among the trees in a forested area near the farm. It seemed that they were “hiding” there to avoid the incessant milking process that they are subjected to. The title,Resistance, is a rather obvious play on the “underground resistance” of a clandestine operation waged by the cows against the “suction” of the mechanical milking apparatus.

I think I have finally finished this one, I will try and upload a better image though. Oil Painting on canvas. Glad that British systems of government have got us where we are today, but can we have a republic now?
