  • I took two photos of this dandelion flower to get all of the parts in focus and then merged the two together.

  • Enjoy!

  • Put this one up because it, to me at least, it full of fun and vitality. I was very lucky that the sky looked like this hence the exploding effect.

  • A magnificent sky erupting over Mt. Rainier and the still waters of a small alpine tarn of the crest trail.

  • While I was into painting (20 odd years ago) I painted this … an explosion of colour on my base fave colour {green} [house paints on acrylic poster paint!] / I remember being a bit peeved I didn’t have a few more vibrant jewel like colours like red and orange and purple! but this was pretty cool I thought! Then when I stood back & looked at it it reminded me of my mind in full swing! Wanting to go every-which-way all-at-once! / ( No wonder people think I’m crazy! lol ) Thanks for checking out my visual art! Chookas! ☼

  • Mt. Bromo smolders uncomfortably close to the Indonesian metropolis of Surabaya on the island of Java. Bromo is the small, grayish cone to the left. Mt. Semeru, the highest mountain on Java, looms in the distance. The entire area is contained within the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. The area is inhabited mainly by the Tengerese People, the last Hindus left on Java.

  • A soap bubble in the process of popping. This is a true photograph – the only editing is a tiny raise on colour saturation.

  • Beware all ye who enter! Daniel and I had a photomanipulation battle tonight…I picked a background, model and object that we then had to make into a piece of art. This is what I came up with! Background / Model / Object Here is Daniel’s interpretation, how good is this for his first proper photomanip?! (c) Sarah Moore 2009 Other stock used… Sign / Explosion

  • My baby (EF 70-200 F/2.8 IS Lens) finally got some workout!! Last Saturday we went for a shoot. It was 5:45 start, the morning after my daughter’s Debutante ball, ( here, and here), and I had less than four hours of sleep. Only after we got to the location, I opened my bag and – imagine the shock!! – realised that the previous night I took all the filters out – since you don’t need The Black Glass for the dance night! Luckily I had my new baby with me, and she had a bit of a workout, just the second time after I got it a month ago :-)) Canon 30D, / Canon EF 70-200 F/2.8 IS Lens, / ISO:100 / Apperture: F 8, / Speed: 1/400 of a second, / FL: 125×1.6 crop factor / Image:RAW

  • Enjoy a calendar – full… or more in the fireworks series… The start of the annual fireworks concert under the landmark ramparts of Edinburgh Castle perched on a volcanic rock above the city. Amongt the picnicers thronging the public gardens below my first attempts at fireworks meant fumbling in the dark with unfamiliar settings (like M for mad) and getting disoriented still further by an upended camera so all the buttons were in the wrong places… LOL .. then it didnt help when my remote died after 3 test clicks..teehee.. So critique hugely welcome.. and excuses above! Nikon D60 / Nikkor VR 18-200 / UV filter / Tripod / Remote (packed up after 3 clicks..grr) f/8 / 1” / ISO-100 / infinity focus / VR off Cropped only Thanks so much for looking / Cheers / :)))

  • The first line of defence is the offshore reefs. / Then next are these offshore rocky islets to take the oomph out of what is left. / This day the most impressive explosions were from the ones not quite big enough to break on the offshore reef ,and therefore they marched into these rocky outcrops still bearing their full force and power that had driven them across a thousand miles of Southern Ocean. / West Point, Marrawah / NW Tasmania.
