“Mother MOOSE and a BABY” This Past summer i was in wilderness of Wyoming most beautiful and breathtaking national Park in USA….driving, walking and sometime showeling my way through brush while carrying tripod in one hand and camera in another …sometime infested marsh and water with snakes…i stumbled upon this mother MOOSE and a baby….it took lots of shoveling through and slipping into the mud to get this photo….as you can see where i was and position of these two…they were caught by suprise and my presence judging from their look …ready to escape… Moose can be very dangerous and can charge at ya …and you are advice to be 25 yards away from them…even though they seem timed they are not… I live and breath for wildlife…..and this one of my moment that i cherish…from my eyes to yours …...Enjoy it!!! Again the old General Hospital… / / It was built in 1897 and was home to Newfoundlands first operating room. The hospital has been closed and condemed for many many years now. Rumor has it that many dark and hideous things were done behind its doors, things that are better left forgotten… Only memories are left now that can haunt its dark and terrifying hallways. / / Cinderellas wicked step sisters would be in their glory having her scrub these floors. / / Another view of the Old General / / / / / / / / / / / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

To BEST VIEW this photo select VIEW LARGER option This PHOTO was published in the cover of known MAGAZINE…because of REDBUBBLE exposure It was cold afternoon i parked my vehicle and start walking on the beach…tide was low….it was so beautiful..i was lost in my thoughts not realizing i almost walked 2 miles….and that water was getting higher…..just as i was about to be where i started from i had to go through some water to my knees to get to my vehicle…...just as sun was coming down i cought a glimpse of these beautiful rocks on sun fire..The solitude of the quiet months on the coast bring relaxing stretches of peaceful beaches, untouched tidepools, spectacular sunsets and nights beneath star-strewn skies. Storm watching during winter months captures your breath as crashing waves pound the rocky beaches and send water shooting into the sky…...sitting on the beach and waiting to no endless sunset evening is spectacualar experience…..the coast of Oregon is every photographer dream…..When they say dreamland this sure is one…I take dangerous edges and lenghtly times of waiting to bring out the best of the nature….This is not everyday of the road scene….It takes courage, time and at the time can be very expensive to bring out the best….Enjoy my work once again….and thank you for any coment i might receive on my photography….... / / SINGHRAY FILTER Graduated ND filter 1 F-stop hard grad…. Still working on refining my night shots. Finally starting to get the results that I am aiming for. Still not happy with foreground, but I think I know what to tweak to get it how I want it. This was taken down at Newport Beach last Saturday night… a crappy night (again).... I seem to have the weather gods against me lately….. I don’t want much… just a full moon and a 50% – 60% low cloud cover.

For many thousands of years the African woman has been worshipped, revered and idolized by individuals, families and nations—not only in Africa but around the world. Ancient records show her as queen, goddess, scholar, diplomat, scientist, icon, prophet and freedom fighting warrior exalted with and sometimes above her father, husband and brothers. The African woman has administered great and mighty nations, led determined and capable armies into battle and founded splendid and enduring royal dynasties. Indeed, no other human of any racial or ethnic type has been so widely venerated as has the African woman. This brief essay, therefore, is intended as a secure African man’s historical recognition, tribute and salute to the prominence, grandeur and majesty of African women. / http://images-1.redbubble.com/img/clothing/bodycolor:white/size:large/style:mens/view:preview/862777-1-karma-chameleon.jpg

/ ... / A bit of an experiment. The addition of dots allows all shirt colour to show through making this image suitable for any colour (except the really dark ones). / I’ve seen people achieve the same effect on their designs with transparent colours but I don’t think RedBubble can print transparent colours properly and they go a bit blotchy. So this is an attempt at a workaround. Also available- /

A couple of nights ago Matt (of Disenchanted Photography ) and I spent a couple of hours in his garage with the intention of experimenting with lighting and off camera flash. / We actually ended up shooting smoke trails for four hours and had a ball! / The experimentation with flash position, ISO and shutter speeds was very beneficial and I got alot out of the shoot. / / The first (mainly black) images that I’m showing here are pretty much off the stick. / They have been converted into jpeg via Lightroom and have had the blackness darkened, a little noise reduction, contrasted and thats it. / I’ve even left the little specks of dust and flying embers on the images! / / / / / / / / / / / / / / Here are some that Matt has used his post proc skills on… / Matt has the “clear gif” setting on, so I could not copy in the larger images… / / / / / / / / / / / / I must admit after spending just a short amount of time on post prod myself I personally found an artful beauty in these type of images simply by converting them to monotone and tweaking the contrast. / / / / / / / / / / ...and to finish off, those of you who know me well know that lately I’ve been hypothetically looking for Aliens… Well I think I found one… / / / / Peace and Hugs! :D

Winner 1st prize in Live, Love, Dream contest # 3 / I was inspired by my friend Here Goes who shared with me a quote one day, and we spoke of how he aspires to practise this as his personal ethos…“the true meaning of life, is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit….” Nelson Henderson / Writing by Here Goes / the undertaking… / Discerning true direction / What of this life? / Am I to merely exist, or inspire? / Who chooses? / Who chooses to make a choice? / How will they measure me? The questions twirled, / and answers once tangled… / Emerge / Such mystery we create / such illusions, our shield / from the simplicity of Life The measure is no matter / But the meaning, / Now there is something / With sharing, / Not self / Our efforts shall endure A small step / can be a giant leap with / positivity and perspective Is expectation worth it? / Harbouring disappointment / Heavy on your shoulders You see the burden dispel, / And the heart burst / With every smile you create / The ease with which, / one makes a difference / Makes one different And it is not the act / of planting one tree / That realises your gift / It is the leaves / That shade someone else / Which gives it weight Your tree, is their shade / Your ethos, is their smile / Your choice, is the true Legacy

My inspiration for this image was a fabulous podcast that actually brought tears to my eyes when I listened to it. It also inspired this post on my blog Sometimes, I wish RB didn’t have such a stark white background. I had to change the colors for posting on RB, because the white background just killed the original colors.
