Ah the smoker. What a bum deal he gets. Can’t do it inside, can’t do it in certain places outside. / But it looks so relaxing. / This stolen moment is one of my favourites. He was just sitting there thinking about whatever people taking 5 minutes from the hustle think about.

This is an older mixed media, self-portrait work on paper. It was produced with a loose drawing in pen and ink, and then added to with oil pastels. The simple, complimentary color choice allowed for an interesting and expressive mood to be conveyed within the piece. The pastel work was also done with a free flowing, fast and selective style. the original was tucked away within a sketchbook for some time. It’s original dimensions are 6in. X 8in. It was produced in 1999.

This is a follow up Picture of ‘Miss Death and Desire’ that was used to practice my colour grading skills in films. Following the 300’s style of colours, i used a green tint (which is used in the movie to help cover their green screen special effects CGI) It created an eerie modern femme fatal film noir look in this photo, which suits it very well. Hence the title. Taken and edited by myself. / Modeled by my lovely Aisha Life to Exhale was featured in: / James Bond 007 / Studio Lighting
