This is a print from my Parables Series. It addresses the issue of vegetarianism in a meat eating world. It also calls into question in my mind the insidious nature of the meat industry. It is an original linoleum print.

Usually the toilet paper is mounted on the holders.. as it is time to do the paper work.. you grab for the roll.. and you drop it.. it rolls off your foot.. and guess what… could you please pass the charmin? ewwww gross.. I put my camera on a towel.. HA! and used a self timer.. and NO I was not doing Number 2.. this shot was for the end of the year party for the Docs.. as it made a funny ending to a story line.

‘go mo leisceal’ is one of the earliest expressions an irish child learns in school. it means ‘excuse me’ and will be said whilst holding ones hand in the air to get the teachers attention, and will most often be followed by “an bhfuil cead agam dul go dti an leithreas?” i.e can i go to the toilet?

Pencil on 9×12 canson 90lb paper sprayed with semi-gloss polyurathane. I took a slight break from airplanes, I like to try and pratice on the things that are difficult for me, such as the figure. I also believe that the human figure especially the female form does not need to be nude to be sexy, mystery is always good! :o)

It’s weird, I feel like I’ve been asleep for the past three years and have suddenly woken up. Now I can see how neglected the fucking house looks and the millions of things I need to tend to. / / The problem is, I want to fix everything right NOW – all in this instant. / / So for the past three days I’ve been cleaning and scrubbing like a maniac, throwing out shit that’s years and years old. / / But I get a bit extreme. / / Half an hour ago I stood in the kitchen and thought how fucking dark and bleak it looked. / / So what did I do about it? / / Did I open the curtains or crop the bamboo and branches away from the window to let the sunlight in like any ‘normal’ person would do? / / HELL NO! / / I took to the old kitchen cupboards with a crowbar and ripped them down, then attacked the wall that separates the lounge with a dirty, big, fucking sledgehammer. / / Result? / / A great, big whopping hole in the wall and plaster all over the place like Christmas fucking snow! hahaha! / / But hey… / / I solved yet another problem… / / I have a lighter kitchen now. :) / / This year is going to bring about some BIG changes in my Life, because I’m going to start taking risks and finally make things happen. / / I hope I don’t ever regret waking up from this three year sleep… ;) / / Ciao 4 Now… I have a demo yard to clean up…. / / Jennifer B / is loony you see! :-P / / xox
