This weekend I did something very very silly…. / I took my new camera on a jet ski in a plastic container (i.e not waterproof housing) and got some snaps of Port Phillip Bay. We only nearly fell of the jet ski, hmmm…. repeatedly. I hope it was worth it! Thanks to my Jetski driver and all round relaxing company James

Ophelia gazes in wonder at these orange palm seeds that are cascading so beautifully from the palm tree. “My seed friends…..you are of the same colour as my eyes, I’m sure looking at you all make my eyes look more orange than they already are!” Ophelia hooted excitedly at the seeds. No matter how many times I have been to the State Fair, some rides are as timeless as the Ferris Wheel. This is one such ride. Taken a few days ago, this image could have been taken back in the 1960s.

Today was my younger brother’s birthday, he’s now 20 years old! Since he lives with me I decided to throw him a little party..Bonnie was having lots of fun getting so much attention from his friends and playing with the balloons .

This is a photo of my crazy dog Jake playing with his beloved frisbee! :P He’ll entertain himself with it forever, when we’re not playing with him, running with it hanging in his mouth while trying to kick it with his front paws (my favorite to watch). We were told that while his previous owner would do yard work Jake would take a tennis ball and put it at the top of the hill in their front yard and tap it and then chase it down the hill. If it ever went in the street he’d leave it, as he knew he wasn’t supposed to go that far. Dogs are so smart, it truly amazes me. We’re so lucky to have him :)

I just got back from an exciting trip I took with my daughters to the beach at Perdido Key & Orange Beach. We also visited the beach today at Alabama’s Gulf Shores! This is a capture of my riverboat queens on the first full day there which was actually Friday! I like this one because of the waves & mood/excitement!
