This is my very first excercise of digital painting with GIMP following this tutorial / I made some changes because I made ( a lot of) mistakes LOL, so I hid them using the tree brushes on the right side, the rest it was using the mouse pad. (it means I have all the credit) *-)) I have to confess I never heard of digital painting before joining RB and I was curious, so I gave it a try and here is the result,. Source of this image is a digital photo I took in 2005 with my then new Canon A610 Powershot camera… The image’s colours were massaged in Paint Shop Pro Paint X2 via the Topaz-Adjust plugin. I then ran Fractalius to get a sketchy look and applied a texture via Paint Shop…. Cheers Kenmo
