View from the red dwarf Gliese 581. Sol System. Red dwarfs are the most common star type in the Galaxy, at least in the neighborhood of the Sun. Planetary habitability of red dwarf star systems was always subject to some debate until man first landed on Neptune. / From the observatory based there, a study was made of Giliese 581, and eventually a team landed to explore. They discovered no life, but ruins were found suggesting some being(s) had dwelt there, still the ruins were quite small in area. Exploration of nearby space is ongoing.

This 3D image is from an old screensaver I made years ago called “Alien Babes”. I was really sucking up to the male computer geek mentality, but the days of pay-for-screensavers were numbered as Hollywood figured out it was a great way to promote new movies – screensavers for free! Back in the 1990’s I had created Damsel Software Group and made dozens of screensavers, some realistic, and some like this one. The ‘Alien Babes’ screensaver featured Picque Dayton’s trip across the universe through lands where women rule the lands. Here, Picque has just arrived through warp travel in Hive City where she will journy to the top platform of the hive and jump off the edge into a wormhole in order to travel to her final destination, an Alien Babes vacation resort. All the Alien Babes scenes were created using Poser, Bryce and Photoshop. In Red Bubble “Alien Hive City” was featured in C.O.R.E in September 2009. The Last Supper has always been painted as though by an observer. But, to me the point of all Christian teaching is to understand the world through the eyes of Christ. At the very least we should all try to emulate the greatness of the man. So, what better way to feel our responsibility to others and learn how we should act toward one another than to put ourselves in Christ’s shoes so to speak. This painting tries to do that, and tries to catch the moment when all the disciples (only some of them shown here in modern dress) suddenly realize what Chirst is doing and what will happen soon in the future. This is a “Let’s Pay Homage” to all the painters in the last who have painted “The Last Supper” and to the good tenet of the religion that the work is based on. “The Last Supper” was featured in Hand Painted or Drawn Buildings and Architecture in August 2009. It was also in the top ten of the PiMT group challenge Art in Art in August 2009, and was featured in the Imaginative Realism group in September 2009.

...This is a further collaboration/experiment with my daughter; in order to get attuned for Christmas Eve. – In the middle my daughter reminded of the Holy Mary. She is kneeling, and it seems as she is praying to the light… we feel peace and tranquility in this picture. It was a beautiful, relaxing, exciting, shared creative experience for both of us. I call it verbal non-verbal art form. this work was result/accompanied with this song: / Encaustic on encaustic paper.
