Dog walking is both a pastime and a profession involving the act of a person walking with a dog, typically from the dog’s residence and then returning. This constitutes part of the daily exercise regime needed to keep a dog healthy. It also provides exercise and companionship for the walker. Dogs are walked with a collar around their neck, or a harness around their waist, which is less common, or by following their owner by familiarity and verbal control. Commonly the dog is walked by the owner, or other family member, but there are also professional dog walkers.

This image didn’t quite end up the way I originally intended. When I first started working on it, the monster was supposed to be all angry and drooling blood after eating some poor unsuspecting individual. Instead, it turned out that he just looked frustrated. Thus spawning the, ‘Hey buddy, could you stop leaving your trash in my lair? I just finished cleaning this place.’ line. So if you play RPGs or have messy roommates, this one’s for you. Enjoy.

CHEK UP DUE / CHECK-UP TIME / Every now and then it suits each and every one of us to get a physical check-up to see and examine if “ALL SYSTEMS ARE ON GO”. Sometimes we find that to our utter dismay, something is happening in our bodies we need to take serious attention to and at others there was no true concern for anxiety. Many, however, fail to give their mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of which they are an examination. Sometimes, we are cowardly – afraid we will be labeled ‘abnormal’. In reality, each and every individual faces challenges to their psyche. It is in our creative capabilities, that many have their best “voice” to describe their personality. While it is not conclusive, there are “signs” that are manifest in this exhibition of our wellbeing amongst our society of peers. This exercise of creativity, regardless of the mode and method, bides as a catharsis for each and everyone. It is, perhaps, in this therapy we retain the very shreds of sanity we fear are at loss. FINAL CHECK-UP TIME / Perhaps it is ironic that the very term – CHECK-UP, gives us a clue on how to go about getting this examination of our souls. Instead of seeing this nomenclature as a noun clause, should we not view it as an imperative predicate? Well, those are fancy words for urging a sense of directive; “Check UP”. / Whether we acknowledge it or not, there is an aspect of accountability in the cosmos. It is here that the final and complete “Check-UP” is accomplished. This examination is on the terms of soul fitness regardless of mental capacity and creative capability. To some, there is comfort and peace in this acknowledgement. Others, there may be doubt regarding this certainty; while others- there is a mood of trepidation. Where uncertainty or trepidation is concerned, one is no better than the other in the end result. How does one know in certainty and thus remove trepidation?
