Melbourne City after twilight from Princes Bridge. / Viewed from Southbank on the Yarra River 1.5hrs after sunset. Melbourne is a very pretty city at night with lots of memorable locations. / 30D, 24-70L,mirror lock-up+timer,24mm, 1/15th, f/11,iso100. I’d left my tripod at home so ended up balancing the camera and propping the lens with a Malteeses choclate box. made from two photo’s, one shot above and then another below to capture the view and also to boost detail for print.

A pic taken in semi rain till before the night comes on the day on the valey of river Soca in Slovenija. This is a wanderful valey .. a must see if you are somewhere near the Italian Slovenian border. Here was the first world war front line.. on the left mountain were Italians and on the right Austrians. A sad story that surround this incredible emerald river.. You will see this river in next months in the Walt Disney Cronichles of Narnia II movie. Pastel on Colourfix paper – 50cm x 35cm Another example of my fascination with water! The Howqua River runs through the area known as the High Country which is in the Mansfield area of Northern Victoria. I did this painting (and a few others) during a camping trip a couple of years ago. The time of day here is late afternoon/early evening. The Howqua area is another truly beautiful part of Australia. ...am feeling all golden today like honey, caramel and molten gold..lol! Golden .’Eventide’ – the latter part of the day (the period of decreasing daylight from late afternoon until nightfall); “he enjoyed the evening light across the lake” / even, evening, eve – the time after sunrise and before sunset while it is light outside;....a first experimental digital creation inspired by this song..I layered 4 photographs I took at the River Waveney Norfolk Broads…used theRedfield fractalius/organic edges plug-inz& burn/opacity/multiply tools then cloned/tweaked coloured & melancholytron to bring it all together. Loved this boat sitting so calm on the Noosa River, as I was sitting there waiting for the sunset colours to intensify, this seagull started feeding off bait fish on the surface.. Bit of a shame he wasn’t facing me, but still happy :) Noosa River, Noosaville, Queensland. Canon 50D, 14mm. Available large, and definately best viewed large!

First storm to hit the area in over 6 months, I was so excited!! Straight to my chosen spot and took hundreds of shots, just waiting for that moment. The sky was so extreme, there was no wind, no rain, just the crazy clouds, and lightning! The rain of course was close, but I managed to get this before it started to pour :) Noosa River, Noosaville, Queensland. the boat is the same subject in River Living and I was very thankful it was still for this to work. Canon 50D, 10mm, 16:9 crop. Available large, and best viewed large! :)

Taken in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA. Pretty much a tourist snapshot of the Falls, which I thought I would share with you ! / A rather crowded place, justifiably so, who wouldn’t want to see this sight ? The Canyon has some amazing colours, and I found the best time was towards evening to be viewed at it’s best. The vertiginous slopes are very loose and crumbly, and I wondered how those trees maintain their perilous foothold !! Shot on a Canon EOS 40D, polariser, tripod, f22, 1/3 sec, iso 100, auto wb, RAW file processed in PS CS3, levels/curves/selective colour adjustments.
