A still, calm evening at Dog Rocks and we were blessed with the sunset colours shimmering on the small lake !!
Beautiful sunset over the Australian Outback, South West Queensland.
Took this a couple of weeks ago of my little girl at the beach and realised it’s potential this morning when I started to play with the colour, light and layers so of course I though that I would share!
Or maybe just show off!! This is my hubby ‘trying’ his best to do a hand stand at the beach a few days ago! Probably not one of my ‘artistic best’ but nevertheless fun! Enjoy :o)
this is our backyard view .a beautiful burnt orange sunset same place different night on the pelican waters bridge, landsbrough parade , golden beach, sunshine coast, / untouched photo .as is straight from the camera

There had been fires up there a year before. its why the trees look this way, I found it interesting and started to take the trees against that sky.
Shot in the Sahara Desert, Libya near the Algerian border. These dunes never cease to amaze me! The colour at different times of the day are just superb. Nikon D300, 12-24mm f/4 at 12mm, f/9, 1/80sec, ISO 100. / . / / . /

The close of a warm Summer’s day at Fairy Dell, Clifton Springs with the remains of The Long Jetty stretching toward the horizon. Pentax istDS Camera. Three exposures bracketed to create an HDR image.
Sunset at the Curracurrang, just south of Wattamolla, Royal National Park. This is a wild and very rugged section of the Park with amazing rock formations and striations, none of which you can see here because it’s late dusk. But this evening had one of the most spectacular sunsets I’ve seen here in the Park. I don’t know why but good sunsets here are few and far between but when they come – carumba! / The sea wash looked pearl-like against an opalescent sky with the cliffs stringing in between like a necklace. Whoops, waxing lyrical, better stop. Two blended exposures – one for the sky and one for everything else. Taken with the old Canon 30D / Tv: 1.6secs and 1/4sec / Av: f/8 / ISO: 100 / FL: 28mm
A Fiery Dawn A Late Autumn Sunrise captured at Lake Estes in Estes Park, Colorado. It was to die for, to say the least….just the distant sound of the Elk bugling is about all you heard. Loved this boat sitting so calm on the Noosa River, as I was sitting there waiting for the sunset colours to intensify, this seagull started feeding off bait fish on the surface.. Bit of a shame he wasn’t facing me, but still happy :) Noosa River, Noosaville, Queensland. Canon 50D, 14mm. Available large, and definately best viewed large!

Here’s a photo I took from my balcony in June 2009. We are lucky enough to watch spectacular sunsets daily and this was just one of many I’ve managed to capture so I decided to share.. I know there’s plenty of beautiful sunset shots but I love this as it’s from my house :o) / Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / Processed in RAW

Rota Island – August 2009 / straight out of the camera / Life on this island is friendly and unhurried and the hospitality is as unforgettable as the magical sunsets. Rota Island is a natural playground with around 3000 inhabitants and is known by many to be Micronesia’s best-kept secret / Rota (Chamoru: Luta) also known as the “peaceful island”, is the southernmost island of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and the second southernmost of the Marianas Archipelago. It lies approximately 40 miles north-northeast of the United States territory of Guam. Songsong village is the largest and most populated followed by Sinapalo village (Sinapalu). In 1521, the first European to see Rota, was the lookout on Magellan’s ship Victoria, Lope Navarro. However, Magellan’s Armada of three ships didn’t stop until they reached Guam, so the first European to arrive in Rota (in 1524), was Spanish navigator Juan Sebastian Elcano, who annexed it together with the rest of the Marianas Archipelago on behalf of the Crown of Spain. Rota has diverse flora and fauna.. / Wikipedia ©2009/2010 Globalphotos All rights reserved. / All photographs, text and images by Globalphotos are the exclusive property of Globalphotos – protected under Australian and international copyright laws. / These images may not be reproduced, copied or manipulated without written permission. / No use for Public Domain. / Use of any image for another photographic concept or illustration is a violation of copyright.
