Taken on a beautiful evening at Wattamolla in Royal NP just south of Sydney Australia. / This is a blended exposure of two identical shots – one shot was taken to expose for the water and to catch its movement, the second shot to expose for the sky. I then combined them in PS. I find this technique gives you a lot more control over an image than by simply using a graduated density filter. I kept the aperture the same for both shots (f/8) but the sky was a 1sec exposure and the waterfall 30sec – so you can get an idea how wide the dynamic range was here. / Canon 30D / Tv – 1sec-30sec / Av – f/8 / ISO – 400 / FL – 21mm / Circular Polarising Filter

Storm watching during winter months captures your breath as crashing waves pound the rocky beaches and send water shooting into the sky…...sitting on the beach and waiting to no endless sunset evening is spectacualar experience…..the coast of Oregon is every photographer dream…..When they say dreamland this sure is one…I take dangerous edges and lenghtly times of waiting to bring out the best of the nature….This is not everyday of the road scene….It takes courage,time and at the time can be very expensive to bring out the best….Enjoy my work once again….and thank you for any coment i might receive on my photography….... / / SINGHRAY FILTER Graduated ND filter 1 F-stop hard grad…. This is Powis Castle near Welshpool, Mid Wales. It’s a fine place to visit, because it’s full of period furniture and paintings, knights armour and musical instruments of the time, a harpsichord was being played as i walked around, which really painted the mood of the castle.
