Early Evening In The Garden Of Good And Evil was shot at Elkington Park in Balmain, Sydney, in the company of millions of mosquitos and batches of bats. Since being Featured Art by Redbubble and in the Night Photography Group, this work has become my most popular image. It is also one of the works I am most proud of, especially as I had no set shooting agenda before I arrived at the location of this magnificent tree. © Simone Byrne Photography, 2007. All Rights Reserved. 29th November, 2007 Sunset at the ‘Tree Graveyard’. A conceptual image (diptych) for all those who are plagued by the “black dog”. Redesdale, Victoria, Australia What is Bipolar? Bipolar disorder is a medical illness that causes severe mood swings which are caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. People who suffer from this illness lack the control mechanism that enables them to pull away from emotional situations and as such their lives may spiral out of control, through no fault of their own. The illness is very serious and very real and affects not only the sufferer, but their friends and family as well. There is still a lot of stigma attached to this disease, given that it is a mental illness to which very little is known about. It is incurable but can be controlled by diet and medication. Most bipolar types are brilliant, creative, inspiring, loving, generous and caring individuals who contribute to making the world a better place, but all the while they themselves struggle every day to survive. Taken at Black Rock near Barwon Heads. The storm had just passed out to sea and let the late evening light illuminate the water.

I used a Canon EOS Rebel XT, Focal Length was 80mm, ISO 400, F-stop F/4.5, This was taken up the Trinity Mountains, it was almost dark. There had been fires up there a year before. its why the trees look this way, I found it interesting and started to take the trees against that sky.
I have taken this double exposure with my toycamera Holga on film. / The cityview is taken from Eureka sky deck in Melbourne. / This beautiful sentence was tagged on a house in Brunswick near mine, but a week later the owner gave it a clean… / With this photo I can always remember it. Gerroa is an idyllic village at the Kiama end of Seven Mile Beach on the south coast of New South Wales … their sunset on Tuesday (6 January 08) was aided by smoke haze from bushfires in the Morton National Forest. After a day in which temperatures reached 40 degrees celsius and beyond, there were plenty of relaxed holiday-makers still enjoying the ambience, the breeze and the spectacular skies.
