  • Selfie from december ‘07. / I needed some inspiration for self-portraiture, then I found this… I’m motivated to try out some new ideas soon.

  • A foggy morning enhanced with Orton effect to create an artistic effect. William Land Park, Sacramento.

  • The Divine in Me is all about creation and how it turn us a particle of the Divinity. When we establish contact with our “creative being”, we become a channel for the Superior Power to manifest through us. When we have an idea, it becomes first “plasmed” in the upper planes as materialized thoughts. Then we turn them real in the physical level, through a painting, music, poetry or whatever artistic language we are trained on. I represented this principle by an ethereal sunflower garden – the sunflower is linked to the symbolism Sun/God/Creation – from which we pick the “flowers of imagination” we once planted and bring them to life in the real world.

  • Taken at Lake Sai in Yamanashi, Japan. It was a misty morning and the fisherman just seemed to be floating in space.

  • From an original 2009 mixed media painting by Stephen Mitchell. Original for sale from londonart

  • I took a bucketload of shots like this in the space of about 15 minutes on my way to work one winter morning. I’d never seen fog in 25 years of living in Japan and there was no way I could miss work that morning. Fortunately I had to pass through a park and just kept taking shots until I could delay no longer. I arrived at school with about a minute to spare! There will be more of these when I’ve sorted out which are best suited for this site.

  • Inspired by the music of Sam Phillips, too much coffee at 4 am, Alice, and the first hint of autumn in Boston
