This image was one of those images that started from something realy small. When my children broke up for the holidays they had this look of were free. writen all other them and some how that slipped into my mind when drawing this. / I can remember longing for the holidays and i think the consept would stand for anyone. Here a young witch has straped all her things onto her broom and head off for home under the light of the moon. / And it reminds me of when i first came across Harry Potter and this world where witchs were not realy noticed, but had this world outside the norm.

I enjoyed taking this shot from Sausalito Calif. The weather condition was light fog rolling in putting a haze over Alcatraz. Capturing the sail boat adds a sense of adventure to this piece of art…. / David Humphrey

Acrylic on canvas / 120cm x 200cm Did this in my first few years of art classes in 1995 / The class had a theme of surrealism. I don’t paint like this any more. It did teach me that art is not just about painting but also about thinking. / In the background something bad is happening…it can happen at any time thus the clocks. There is images of art, music and companionship that I escape with….not much else matters

I love this tree photograph that I took early in this year and I decided to make another image out of it. I guess this particular image is how I felt when I was living in NY in the winter and just wanted to get air lifted out to a warmer location when I was not in a happy place in time. I almost called this photo “The Head Tree” but ended up going with Escape. Available as a T-Shirt also Thank You for your views!
