The first settlers in Mad River Township settled sometime prior to 1798. The name Enon means “abundance of springs” and from 1817 to 1838 the area was a flourishing agricultural center. This was capture at the Enon, Ohio cemetery, some of the stones I could read dated back to the mid 1800’s. Shot in monchrome, then solarize in PS and added a sepia tone to it. / canon 5D mark ll / canon 17mm / ISO 200 / 1/40 f/14 / circular polarizer

Whitehaven’s old Powerhouse. It is such an interesting old building to look at with alot of history behind it. The path leads up to a steep set of steps, which at night are quite errie! Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of the Exorcist?! (Maybe more so when you actually see the steps!)
Thick smoke settles over Geelong in December 2006 from the High Country fires. / The setting sun just breaking through the thick smoke in pink tones, dropping low over power lines.

Abandoned old house with broken windows and sagging door gives a errie feel of evil lurking close by….....night time sounds and shadows add to the already alert senses! Ghost stories and old tales abound about this old house and people still cross the the otherside of the street when walking by even during the day!

Ok, so not a great photo as I forgot my tripod and I had to rest the camera on a coffee table. This was taken at a relative’s home last Christmas.
Lost ‘somewhere around’ Broadhaven Bay, Erris, this sheep seemed happy enough to pose for a picture of the coastline.
Looking out over some of the flat lands of Erris, Mayo.
A sunset image (the lighthouse on the far shore has just lit up). It’s the definition of the grass in the foreground that interests me most in this treatment. The upper part of the image provides a chaotic balance in my eyes.
full moon hidden by cloud
Visiting relatives past Belmullet, this picture was taken looking out into Blacksod Bay. From here, your next stop is America…
