  • Whitehaven’s old Powerhouse. It is such an interesting old building to look at with alot of history behind it. The path leads up to a steep set of steps, which at night are quite errie! Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of the Exorcist?! (Maybe more so when you actually see the steps!)

  • A sunset image (the lighthouse on the far shore has just lit up). It’s the definition of the grass in the foreground that interests me most in this treatment. The upper part of the image provides a chaotic balance in my eyes.

  • The first settlers in Mad River Township settled sometime prior to 1798. The name Enon means “abundance of springs” and from 1817 to 1838 the area was a flourishing agricultural center. This was capture at the Enon, Ohio cemetery, some of the stones I could read dated back to the mid 1800’s. • Abandoned old house with broken windows and sagging door gives a errie feel of evil lurking close by….....night time sounds and shadows add to the already alert senses! Ghost stories and old tales abound about this old house and people still cross the the otherside of the street when walking by even during the day!

  • Still to this day Chad hated walking by this place, even in the day time it brought back horrible memories, and at night it was just terrifying, but unfortunately he had to work late, and there were only two ways home, and right now the other choice was not an option since the town bully and his clan were all gathered down the other street..slowly he walked..closing his ears and mind to the wind moaning..but it didn’t help, all he could hear was his brothers screams…even 5 years later.. / It was a night like this..they were walking home from the movies, laughing and joking around, trying to freak each other out since they just got done watching a horror movie..when all of a sudden his brother stopped dead in his tracks..the look on his face scared the hell out of Chad, following his brothers stare..he seen it there in the dark in the shadows of the trees it stood the most horrifying thing they have ever seen..its eyes weren’t there..hollow sockets dripping blood..its mouth opened in a scream..teeth so sharp they knew if it got a hold of them it would rip them to shreds..it started to float towards them..Chad grabbed his brothers hand and ran..ran like hell..both too scared to scream..not looking back..just as they were about to make it to their yard, he heard the most awful sound..a shriek from the depths of Hell and felt the tug on his arm..he turned and looked ..thinking his brother had fallen..and all that remained was his brothers glove..still clutched in Chads hand… / He knew after all these years his brother was gone..and he had to face his fears, either be beat to a pulp by the town bully..or walk through his nightmare and come out alive and free..he had to be free from this..he picked up his pace..walking past the spot where he last seen his brother… feeling the nightmare behind him.. Relief washing through him..then he heard it..his name being called..not by a normal voice..it was more a growl..NO more like a wet gargled moan..and there in the shadows stood his brother..what was once his brother..now he had those same hollowed eyes..and he was floating towards him..out of the shadows…arms raised..teeth bared..and then Chad was being dragged..pulled..and ripped through the shadows and into the night… Nikon D90 / 18-200mm VR Lens Old church door.
