  • digital photo Lemon is a patient mare…

  • He was in my face the entire time I was photographing the other horses…......a real friendly boy!

  • Sandy is one of two sisters I owned, they were Welsh/Arab and had been together 16 years, they were inseparable. While I shoot equines for a living ,I purchased these 2 marshmellow puffs,to live their live out here on my farm and be models, along with the other horses here that I rescued from sales including PMU mares. / To say they are special would be an understaement(Sandy and Candy).,they even inspired a childrens story, which I hope to finish one of these days. Signed fine art prints are available by contacting me. All images are copyrighted and may not be used in whole or part, including paintings without permission from artist. • This was my mare Santana, she was incredibly difficult to photograph, because she was always in my pocket or she was in my camera bag or playing with my tripod… This to date is one of my favorites of her,it was early morning and she decided to play with me and thats how this image came about and for me personally I knew this was the shot, when I saw it and click the shutter ,because it took my breath.

  • Digital photo September 2009 / Hunter Valley NSW Haflinger Pony stallion at a stud in the Hunter Valley. / These ponies are originally from Austria – bred for general / draft work, riding & harness. Featured in BACKYARD PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP – September 2009

  • Took this a couple of days ago when the fog was really rolling. I love my horses – great models! This is Glory and her son, Moon Dancer. When Dancer was born our hearts stopped because we thought he was a fatal white, a condition that can happen between a tobiano/overo mix and is always deadly. Luckily he has one big brown spot on his belly and is great. Available light, Canon EOS 20D, 135mm lens.

  • Another image from our foggy morning. Glory just followed Charley all over the pasture. Since he got home from his six years away on deployment, she doesn’t want him out of her sight. Available light, Canon EOS 20D, 135mm lens. I love the softness the fog gives, very dreamy.

  • Another image from the morning of my husband Charley’s birthday. The horses followed us all over the pasture. Available light, Canon EOS, 20D, 135mm lens. / f/5.6, 1/500, ISO 400

  • Oils on canvas board 24” x 36” 2009 / Commission – SOLD This has been a large project which I have been working on for several weeks now. The horses are all stockhorses owned by a local couple who live on a farm in the Manning Valley, up past Wingham. I originally took all the pics for this painting, so it is a combination of the best photos chosen by the owners & the background tree was a favourite, which had to be in the painting. Featured in EQUINE ATHLETES GROUP – December 2009

  • This is my girlfriend’s quarterhorse named Badger 3-D…... / caught the reflection of his buddy in this shot…........ / December 26, 2009 THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS MY FRIENDS…........xo

  • My Appaloosa friends- Summer 2009
