This is a painting I actually screen-printed years ago and pulled 300 limited edition prints on heavy watercolour paper so I guess I can’t put it for sale as a print on here unfortunately, but I can still make it a card. / Like a lot of my work it is mixed media, pastel and acrylic and gold leaf and other stuff. Great fun to do, and all about trying to depict the power and movement of the subject.
Original oil painting on board.
A portrait of a beautiful white horse

An Akhal-teke horse, a breed famous for its golden colour, canters across a recently harvested wheat field.
This has been taken towards my degree. The idea was to use a type of breed in this case it was an Andalusian. I used the black background as I had found that in my image out of darkness it had worked really well, and so decided to carry this theme on. / Thanks for looking hope you like, comments appreciated / Laura Nikon D70s, 70-200

Quick tonal study, oil painting. Diana-Lee Saville kindly nominated this painting to be added to the Pay-It-Forward Group. The nomination has been accepted which is a huge compliment to my work. This is what Diana-Lee had to say about this work “I would LOVE to nominate this Arab Mare and Foal. It is one of those works I can’t stop looking at!! It has a lovely old world feel to it.” Thankyou Diana-Lee, I feel honoured that my work is appreciated this way!
