Traveling along the Calder highway ,from Gragieburn ,through Sunbyry ,I usually drive through the small Country roads ,eventually taking me to Lake Eppaloc,among other scenic landscapes Over the last ten years a once Beautiful Lake ,full of life , people, wildfowl ,fish,,, has been reduced to nothing more than just a place of small puddles of green water,an unfortunate Drought that’s griping Australia for too long.The dead trees ,stand there as the witness of Mankind’s management. Nikon D200 at1/320 at f.8 and 55m. / pp was in ps, Mainly curves,levels,,grayscale,gradien fill,and colour balance.

Around Lake Eppalock ,in the state of Victoria,there are some Magnificent tall gum trees ,unfortunately all to few,that I have been admiring for years,and i thought i will immortalise them for ever, before some idiot either chops , or set them on fire, I tried to make them look as Majestic as they are,somehow though i think i half succeed it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What do you think ..!!!

On a new visit to an old friend of mine ‘Lake Eppalock ’ although still dry ,and this will be more than ten years of drought, I noticed that some young trees are growing ,even though they are struggling !Watching them the only thing I could do was pray to the ” Rain God “ / and be amazed how resilient Nature is .! even though around her most of her children die …! yet some are just born..!! an hdr and p/p in photoshop.
