A gorgeous floral cascade of bougainvillea over a doorway in Antigua, Guatemala.

Commissioned in 2004 for the Pirreca family, this work was based on a treasured antique vase and incorporated painted birds of the local Sydney region. Point House was constructed in the 1880’s for the then Lord Mayor of Sydney on what became known as Huntley’s Point.

Taken while lying on my stomach to get a view of what the inside of a glass and wood structure looks like…. that leads into the crypt. The metal carts are used for wheeling the dearly departed in and out.

As I live in the States and pretty much all of our doors look the same, I was just blown away by how different all the doors were when I went to France, so I took a lot of pictures so I could remember them and now I want to share them with you.
