Taken in Colaíste Dhulaigh in Coolock Dublin whilst studying photography sometime between 1989 and 1992 though i really feel in my waters that it was 1991. Barry was and is an entrepreneur and when this picture was taken he was busy with his from hoem car valeting service cleaning cars inside and out and with the eager help of paid employees. I do not think he was ever really good on a skateboard.
President George Dubya Bush has said some colorful things during his presidency. This series of T-shirts distills the essence of these quotes, ranging from the bizarre and surreal to the just plain dumb, into a number of stylish quotable quotes. ‘No French word for entrepreneur’ is about as worldly as Dubya gets!

My response to ’ What Has Redbubble Done for You? ’. It didn’t take me long to type this out, but I took a bit longer to sort out the words into a readable format. Redbubble has … 1. Allowed me to to read and write constructive articles of personal interest … specifically DPI and copyright legislation 2. Made me rethink my future, abilities, desires and career. 3. Has introduced me to the most amazing photographers around the world, a lot of whom are in my locality! 4. Made me learn / ... .... about the features of my DSLR, / ... ... how to utilise multimedia to fix and alter images, / ... ... more about the style of photography I truly prefer, / ... ... about finances and running a small business. / ... ... how to find and make customers in the REAL world. 5. Been my addiction since April 2007, and I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon. 6. Has made me realise that not every image needs a critical or complimentary comment. I’ve learnt that I am number one , I need to care more about the way I present myself, and that my clientèle deserve that respect when I am putting my name against both my own and other people’s work. / All artwork is copyright© to Stephen Mitchell, All Rights Reserved. / You may not use, replicate, manipulate, redistribute, or modify this image without my express consent.

Have you heard? Redbubble have a new product: The BDBD. The BDBD is sure to sell brilliantly, if only we market it correctly. / Say it with the rest of the crowd …. What is a BDBD? When you say it out loud, it rolls off the tongue: A Bakers Dozen of Beautiful Digitals. Never heard of it? Well, that is no surprise … it’s really new, yet it’s the darndest bestest greatest most-spectacular idea of all time! Trust me, I know, I know the guy who thought up this grand idea, we’re close, we’re friends, heck, we are related! (But I bet you know who I’m talking ‘bout!) Let me sell it to you another way… It’s nearing February. January is almost complete. So the first month of every calender is close to flipping over into the next four weeks. So the first photograph in every calender is not going to be seen again … unless you sold it as a frame, canvas, matte, card, poster, tshirt, mounted or laminated. My friend, the BDBD is here to resolve that problem. No longer is it a calender ... it is now a BDBD, a flip-version of your 13 best photographs that your buyers can flip over ANYTIME of the year, every day if they please. They can chop off the months and just hang the photos in the kitchen, on the bland-cubicle petition, or on the back of the toilet-door. Any where, any place, any time, every day of the year. So. Are you going to sell a 11-month calender tomorrow, or a BDBD?. Am I scraping the bottom of the ideas barrel? Or can you prove me wrong?

Pride, one of the seven deadly sins. The “Entrepreneur” and the Ladies, all proud of themselves. / I was doing this for the competition, then realized it had to be a poem of 150 words or less, and about the picture, but here it is anyway. Not a poem and 359 words! :)
This is a set of stairs and basement that I designed for a customer. The basement was unfinished and we did the framing, drywall, floors, stairs and cabinets on site. / Entered for challenge “Small Town Business Entrepreneur” in the First Things Group
I enjoy photographing the foggy autumn mornings. I also dabble some with my family’s genealogy. I find it interesting to see how my forefathers lived. This Photo is a combination of the two interests. I think the times past is important and should be preserved. / This is Mingus Mill located on the North Carolina side of the Great Smoky Mountain N.P.It is one of the many historic structures preserved by the Park Services. It was built in 1886.It is one of two operating grist mills in the GSMNP.These mills were a vital part of the communities of that era.The people of that era could grow there grain but still needed to have it ground so they could have there day to day bread. / I feel it’s important to call peoples attention to structures like this. They may then have a better understanding of those wishing support to help preserve them.So our grandchildren can see the struggles of how we became a nation
