this rather mysterious IR landscape was taken out of the window of a wonderful little flat I had for a time in Enmore which is a suburb in Sydney very close to the vibrant hub of Newtown. This is actually the moon not the sun but it was so bright this night and the IR really finds light that just can’t be seen with the eye…... like here….....

this is the view I was lucky enough to have for a year. I had a really neato little flat the was the top back of a big old two story terrace in Enmore which is an inner city suburb of Sydney…. being upstairs I had to most wonderful view across the district across to the airport and there were some really amazing skys to be seen…. and photograph….. from there….. I loved it…... this shot is the morning sky above the row of little terrace houses behind me…....

the next in my little series of IR shots taken from the upstairs window of place I once lived in. The back of the flat was almost entirely glass so I had the most wonderful skies to look at….... and it was quite near the flight path as well so I saw a lot of planes while I lived there…...

Buddha graffiti just off Enmore Rd, Enmore, NSW, Australia. Nikon D90, Sigma 10-20mm, HDR’d with 3 exposures of -2, 0 & +2, quick tidy up in Iphoto.

Where King St meets Enmore Rd in Newtown. A few plants in the foreground. Processed on PhotoFiltre using the Note Paper filter. Just discovered this and it can create some quite wonderful effects.

This is my friend, a drag queen who used to perform at Enmore’s “Sly Fox,” touching up his makeup in the light of the pub’s juke box.

This “Zombie Lurch” took place in May 2009 in Newtown. A group of hundreds of fans of death chic stumbled their way up King Street, smearing fake blood along the way.
