The more I gaze at the fire. The more I see. I have a very vivid imagination. So pardon me as I explain it as I view it. Evil is in it. The long tailed vision holding a book in front of him opened on a stand. People in the fire and heads around in the fire. There`s a big book behind the preaching demon, and it appears as a person or people are wrapped up in bed linens inside the half burnt book. See the original and look close you may see these things I have outlined. If not .. atleast you can enjoy the fire! Keep warm!

This is a painting I did a while ago using the pattern of zero’s and one’s in formal logic truth tables to define an artistic pattern similar to that of Celtic ribbonwork. I’ve been meaning to do more work along this line…In fact I’ve got several lifetimes of work to do but only one to do it in, what a bummer.

Five upright lamps are borne by the *wise virgins of the *parable to indicate that they are full of oil, whereas the lamps carried by the foolish virgins are inverted because they are empty. / It became customary in the 13th century to place a lighted lamp before the altar where the *Blessed Sacrament was reserved. This practice was made obligatory in Roman Catholic Churches after the *Council of Trent.
