The Lake District is an astoundingly beautiful region of England. This shot was taken in late November, and snow on top of the mountains is unusual at this time of the year. What a crisp, cold day it was. I so look forward to going back and spending more time to explore. A large portion of the Lake District has been made a reserve and National Park for the preservation of the area. Most of the land was bought by the authour Beatrix Potter.
