An early morning and highly reflective image of Brothers Water in the English Lake District taken during a recent holiday. As I was making my way up Kirkstone Pass towards Windermere I noticed the mirror-like reflections on the still water of the lake, so without further ado, stopped the car and this was one of many images I took of the lake with the mountainous backdrop reflecting perfectly on the still water.

Stanage Edge in Derbyshire is the longest gritstone edge in England at 3.5 miles in length and is a popular haunt for rock climbers like the chap featured here! / The weather (and the light) can change quickly in this region, so I was lucky to have a brief spell of good light on this otherwise dull day. An early morning composition looking up Deepdale Valley between Patterdale and Brothers Water in the English Lake District. The white building in the distance is Deepdale Hall, a working hill farm as well as a popular guest house nestling in the shelter of the hills.
