Image for a challenge using plain white paper. Using long exposure and torchlight to light the area, this is what I came up with. exp – 8 seconds / f3.5 / iso 80 / FL 31mm / eveready torch with piano certificate held in front to diffuse the torchlight, only other props include sticky tape and one sheet of plain white photocopy paper, and lots of patience. At one stage, a rotating multi-coloured disco light was involved, but this was soon abandoned due to the law of physics/light not matching the image in my head :(

this is my favourite one While this is a posed photo, I love the difference in comfort levels. It is still a photo of real people, in the moment. The guy in the photo had never modelled before. The girl had. It was near pitch black before I took each shot. [I had to bounce the flash off a hand mirror-(and shut my eyes as I clicked) because I used fixed flash.] so they had to hold the pose in the dark and somehow appear natural! This poor guy-he hardly knew this girl and was hesitant to touch her. You can tell she is loving it. I had to show him where to put his hand. You can see the tentative nature of the placement. (Am I dong it right?) It is a study in human body language to me!
