acrylic on paper 14”x17” / Dancing in lighted pools of Jello-textured neon. “That’s the way to do it,” an old stranger called to the young man who, being suddenly aware of what he was doing, stopped, looked over his shoulder and glanced down at the ragged multi-colored sheet that was pulled tightly around his shoulders. He leaned back and peered up at the sun. Smoke rose from the side of a brick building and the odor or ginger floated through the air. The source of both puzzled him, as he remembered distinctly thinking he was the only person in the world just a few moments before. The old man smiled a toothless smear of flabby lips and bowed down to the dancing youth, who smiled back, jiggled aimlessly for a few seconds on thin, scratched legs and then sat down on a patch of grass in from of a building that had been painted by clowns. The young man pulled back the corner of his gown of rainbow hues and let out his heart, which had been beating all along, but in being freed, started to do a dance all of its own, though it had no legs. It also sang, which surprised the young man as he had always thought he was mute.

A Fu Dog, or Temple Lion is powerful mythic protector. / The male lion has his right paw on a globe, which represents his “feeling the pulse of the earth.” / Golden one coming soon kids… I just envisioned these colours, but a Golden one is more appropriate. He had to go on a tee…. from the upcoming poster!

I created these 2 pieces (slightly different from one another Transcension By Devine Light ) then a title came to mind (btw~it always happens this way for me) the word TRANSCENSION, it fit it perfectly then i pulled it up on google and found this article: Answering the Fermi Paradox: Exploring the Mechanisms of Universal Transcension, © 2002-2007 by John Smart / http://www.accelerating.org/articles/answeringfermiparadox.html / This was the section that stood out to me: / In transcension, once intelligence saturates its local environment, it is constrained to leave local spacetime. It learns how to enter hyperspace, that suspected multidimensional environment hinted at in our string, supersymmetry, and M-theory, and within which cosmologists tell us new universes may be born and other yet-uncertain events may happen. In transcension, advanced intelligence inevitably moves out of our slow and computationally-restrictive spacetime, multi-locally, once it reaches a certain point in its development. The developmental singularity hypothesis is one of several possible versions of the transcension scenario, but it need not be proven correct for constrained transcension to remain the destiny of local intelligence. / In this section i read, i realized this is what i was deplicting, a transformation of this being into a higher state and leaving of this space and time. I was chasing a hot air balloon across south east Lincolnshire trying to get close enough for a decent picture of it when I spotted some wind turbines at Deeping St Nicholas. The sun was going down so I decided to take some pictures of these instead (never did get close enough to that balloon) this is my favorite one of the series. BTW I never appreciated just how HUGE they are, I managed to walk across the fields right up to one and climbed its steps… I felt like an ant next to it.
