Everytime I was washing the dishes in front of my window I kept looking at that fantastic scene .The snow had covered all the roof and at the same time my window ,it was completely dark ,until the snow began to melt .What a sight but I had to remove the icy snow with my hand and push inch by inch the window to open enough so I could go through the small window and take some shot .You should have seen me ,all wet and very happy of my idea. / I called it «communion» because ,at first the two icesticks were just one and melted until they got separated but it looks like they are reaching to get together again.The drop is the communion between them,a« metaphore» but for me it was magical.It’s like the time is suspended…..an untouched pic… / / /

So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) This image has had over 5000 views Sales 1 Mounted Print 1 Poster Click here for my other images of Melbourne

4am / and still up… / it has become a habit / against the blackness of indigo / rain paints a slate drape / familiar and comforting rhythm / but it’s a bit different tonight / there are no metaphors / just plain and comforting song singing / just as that one night long ago / sipping daiquiri and sketching boats / against the reflected moon of long beach shoreline / i close my eyes and lift the drape of slate fall / the rain tonight / spaniard in tarnished armour / and the rolling hills of sweet grape scented heaven / he’s pulled away from me / no… / he quietly pulls away / and fades into nothingness / nullified memories / but i’m not sad / rain continues its song / and it fills me and that’s how it ends… . o2.15.2oo9 / colored pencils (prismacolor) / on moleskine® notebook .

The road to Timna Valley Park , South of Israel, 30 km north to Red Sea From WIKI : The Park is noted for its natural sandstone formations, including King Solomon’s Pillars, the “Mushroom”, “Arches” and “the Sleeping Lion”. It includes what are believed to be the oldest Copper mines in the world, dating back to at least 4000 BC and worked almost continuously by (among others) the Egyptians, Romans, Nabateans and Ummayads. / markers to Timna Park Rock carvings, including “the Chariots”, and ancient inscriptions are visible as well as mining shafts, the remains of ancient copper furnaces and a temple dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Hathor.
