Worth going to the larger view – lots more stars. / I shot this in winter under a full moon at about midnight at Lake Eucumbene in the Snowy Mountains, Australia. This was my first shoot outside at night in winter. It was minus 5 degrees and when I got back home and my fingers started to thaw out I couldn’t believe the pain – Lesson 1 for winter night shots – wear mittens at the very least! / These trees were drowned along with a whole valley to create a man-made lake as part of a hydro scheme in the 1950s. They’ve resurfaced as a result of a drought we’ve been having for the last few years courtesy of global warming.

Sumerian text / Are they a clue / To thoughts perplexed / By Nibiru / / Planet so far / We can not see / Or failed star / On stellar spree / / NASA has lost / What they have found / Announcements tossed / And run aground / / A conspiracy / To hide the truth / Or fantasy / Another spoof / / One day we’ll know / As facts accrue / The truth will grow / Of Nibiru / / Or I could title this ‘A Bad Day At The Beach’. / / This composite artwork was inspired by the ongoing conspiracies regarding Nibiru, also known widely as ‘Planet X’. The 6,000 year old Sumerian descriptions of our solar system include one more planet they called “Nibiru”, which means “Planet of the crossing”. Nibiru is said to have an approximate 3600 year elliptical orbit that takes it far beyond the known boundary of our solar system. There is evidence of many cover ups by NASA that date all the way back to what may be the original discovery by the NASA IRAS satellite back in 1983. You can read the original front page story published in the Washington Post at the link below, as NASA / pulled their announcement a week after giving it. Thankfully it was archived by CalTech at the link below… for now anyway. / / Mystery Heavenly Body Discovered, Washington Post – 31-Dec-1983 / http://spider.ipac.caltech.edu/staff/tchester/iras/washington_post_mystery_object.html / / Further, there has been ongoing evidence of NASA doctoring images captured from a wide array of different telescopes for over 30 years that may show the approaching Nibiru. Ice cores taken in both Greenland and Antarctica also show that Earth has had significant impacts that relate to this 3600 year orbit of the mysterious ‘Nibiru’. There are also references to it in almost all religions, from the Bible, to the Koran, to the Mayans, to the aboriginals on many different continents. / / Governments around the world are building elaborate underground shelters to house thousands of the rich and elite, as well as, other underground shelters to warehouse seeds and other genetic material. There are thousands of articles on this subject across the internet, and I leave it with you to decide which are the true conspiracies and which are the facts, although remember, that actions most often speak the truth louder than words. / / The artwork depicts what Nibiru may look like at it’s closest approach to Earth. It is a photo composite I made from a photograph of my own and a public domain image from NASA. Most accounts say it may be ‘red’, although I portray it here more along the lines given in the description from the original NASA announcement in the Washington Post article found above. /

The entire island of Maui is an enormous mountain rising up from depths of the ocean floor and surrounded by the vast and beautiful Pacific Ocean. The West Maui mountains are older than the East Maui mountains, specifically the majestic summit of Haleakala, which is one of the highest mountains on earth, a massive shield volcano that forms more than 75% of the Hawaiian Island of Maui, the summit of which is 10,023 feet in elevation from sea level. Mauna Kahalawai of West Maui is the mountain visible in many of my beach images from the south coast of the island and my sunset images from Ku’au and Ho’okipa on the North Shore. This is a composite of my photographs of a beautiful sunset on the golden sands of Po’olenalena Beach, Maui Hawai’i. Visible on the horizon is the sacred island of Kanaloa (Kaho’olawe Island) and Molokini. The sacred O ‘Iao Valley is the most famous valley of this mountain range. The West Maui Mountains or West Maui Volcano, known to Hawaiians as Mauna Kahalawai and Hale Mahina, form a much eroded shield volcano that constitutes the western one-quarter of the Hawaiian Island of Maui.” This archipelago represents the exposed peaks of a great undersea mountain range known as the Hawaiian-Emperor seamount chain, formed by volcanic activity over a hotspot in the earth’s mantle. At about 1,860 miles (3,000 km) from the nearest continent, the Hawaiian Island archipelago is the most isolated grouping of islands on Earth. The Hawaiian-Emperor seamount chain is composed of the Hawaiian Ridge, consisting of the islands of the Hawaiian chain northwest to Kure Atoll, and the Emperor Seamounts, a vast underwater mountain region of islands and intervening seamounts, atolls, shallows, banks and reefs along a line trending southeast to northwest beneath the northern Pacific Ocean. The seamount chain, containing over 80 identified undersea volcanoes, stretches over 5,800 kilometres (3,600 mi) from the Aleutian Trench in the far northwest Pacific to the Loʻihi seamount, the youngest volcano in the chain, which lies about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of the Island of Hawaiʻi. The Hawaiian Islands are that portion of the Hawaiian-Emperor seamount chain that projects above sea level.” Information Source: Wikipedia. Jacob is featured in one of Daniel’s books ~ God of Light, God of Darkness In preparation for the ‘Io Project, (‘Io is the Hawaiian name for God or the Supreme Creator) when Jacob was asked by Daniel to join the team, Daniel had received information about Jacob as he was working with DLNR in land conservation and drug enforcement, and considering that Jacob is Kanaka Kupuna and has a wealth of knowledge about his people and culture, the Heiau’s, the temples and other sacred, historic and archeological sites on Maui, Moloka’i and the other Hawaiian Islands. It was critically important that the spiritual cleansing of the heiau’s on all the islands take place at the same time. Date of the project 14 March 1998. Excerpt from God of Light ~ God of Darkness – Chapter 20 The Mountain Ridge / “Thursday morning, 12 March, dawned; and Daniel was still without a solution to their dilemma. The phone rang; it was Jacob Mau on Maui. Jacob was known as the best search and rescue man on Maui. He had hunted the mountains and back country of Maui since he was a boy and knew the land like his own back yard. He was a major factor in helping the Maui team find several heiau(s). Jacob told Daniel he was helping Pastor Alan Cravallo get permits to go into several remote valleys in Hamakua on the Big Island. So Daniel told him of their unsolvable problem on Moloka’i. Jacob said he would see what he could do and call him back. Daniel didn’t have high hopes. He had already checked out every possible option. But an hour later, Jacob called back. “I got you a helicopter that will land you at the very top of the mountain – FREE!!”. Daniel was stunned! It turned out Jacob had a pilot friend, Mike (last name withheld by request), who owed him a favour. He and Jacob had worked together many times doing search-and-rescue- missions. Getting permits was not a problem for these search-and-rescue pilots. Jacob said Mike was the best pilot in the islands and that he had landed in the Moloka’i high country many times. Best Viewed Full Size I found this barn along Route 30 between Breezewood and Bedford in PA. When I first saw it only a couple of years ago, parts were still being used for hay storage. But when I drove past recently, March 15, 2009, it was clear I was looking at something that won’t be around much longer. I don’t know the history, but directly across the road had been a very interesting, 2-story log house that is gone now, as well. Only the brick fireplaces and a pile of rubble remain. Image taken with the Nikon D40x using the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens, handheld. This is a composite image … I used a threatening sky that I shot in my backyard at the end of March, ‘09. Post processed for the sky composite addition, then, using a single image which I duplicated twice at 2 +/- eval in Photoshop, I created the hdr in Photomatix. Back to Photoshop for some more clean up work. All together, probably about 7 layers.
