Photographic based digital montage – 2007 (no 2 from series of 3 re-worked). Shot two seperate models & P/S combined them. I also draw in & enhanced part of the headpeice, the body, the dress, added a fringe to the face, hid the eyes, made the features more angular, blew up the lips, created cheekbones, reworked the branches, filtered wallpaper effects, extended the chandelier, added lacework/flower elements, desaturated the lot & added a sepia tone. Thank you to both models who wish to remain anonymous. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers. Just Sometimes (Song of Laughter and Forgetting) by Swervedriver – entered in Red Bubble ‘songmanip07 – Musical Photo Competition’. So many great entries. Regards to all for voting for this peice. This was a beautiful place to be – when the children were there is became magical – every door opened wasn’t a garden it was the secret garden and we had to look for lepricorns and fairies and smell every flower and describe every tree.

I love fields. And this piece expresses how that wonderful space feels to me. I can hear music in places like this. Inspired by my favourite song, The Sacrament by HIM. I shot the tree, flowers & combined them in P/S with drawn elements & filtered the lot. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers. Generally I tire of my artwork yet still love this series to this day. The lot 60×60cms are printed on canvas gracing the walls of my home.

An unbelievable walk in the wildest part of mid Wales, down in the depths of a remote valley, with the sound of a distant waterfall and the rasping call of a crow, I came through a tunnel of intertwining trees, until eventually emerging out, onto this path, where I noticed those eyes looking straight at me, do you see them ?
