This is Violet aged 15 years old. She works in the fields from sunrise to sunset. Her Parents are dead. Violet works the small plot of land hoping to grow enough food for herself, her three younger brothers and sick Grandfather. she has a disability caused by Rickets, a disease that is common here. Her upper and lower limbs are bowed outwards. Yet Violet must force herself to work, or her dependants will starve. Please help us to help her and many more like her. This poem was beautifully written by a very talented poet and Writer called Adgray. God Bless you for wring this fitting piece . Does she dream of dancing and movies and fun / this girl with the faraway eyes / Has she the wish to kiss Brad Pit / Did she cry when Heath Ledger died? / What does she wish for when Christmas comes? / an ipod or mobile phone? / Does she complain there’s no chocolate again / in the fridge when she gets home. We complain we don’t have enough to survive / Money to cover our bills / and purchase the service and goods we desire / AND the luxury home in the hills / But where does it say life must be this way / That we have and she has not / That our world be of greed luxury and games / and hers of pain and hard lot. I look in the depths of these faraway eyes / and I think of my own teenage life / How I struggled with that I was expected to do / and rebelliously got into strife / I look at my own daughter of fifteen years / And know how I fiercely protect her / I support all her learnings and all her dreams / and use all my wisdom to guide her. But they are similar these girls far apart / for my daughter also cares for her home / She looks out for her younger siblings as well / and is rarely allowed to roam. And I wonder if having is really a curse / for to have not enough creates stress / equal to that of not enough food / but granted the consequence is less I shall show all my children these faraway eyes / for this girl is also one of their peers / their ages are similar their wants must compare / how I long to abate all her tears / I cannot succeed in my western world life / I struggle myself to survive / But oh how I wish I could lavish life’s gifts / On those beckoning faraway eyes. This was taken at my brothers funeral in october. My brother passed away on the 18th of July. He in times past showed interest in body donation. His body was donated to science, 4 weeks later we got him back in a box. It took me almost 2 months to open the box that he was sent in. I am not sure why….. Fear of the unknown I guess. It may have been that once was my brother was now a box that was no bigger then 12 by 12 and that was what we are… ash, dust in the wind to say the least. My Grandma stopped in front of the small box that now was my brother to say goodbye. Something that no one is prepared to do. / For every Christian Death is victory not defeat….. / canon30Dslr

Enlighten in a flash / Inspired by Klaus Schulze. Stardancer II And the movie 2010 Working with my emotions, fears and dreams, i use long exposure and lightsources like flashlights to really try to catch the ethereal energy in the moment of time. Sometimes I feel like I succeed in this. / Often i use this kind of “flashlight-images” in combination with other images to make a composite, to express what i need to express. Other times this kind of images is posted “unchanged”. What is important is that this is my way of working with my traumatized body and mind to understand and integrate this part of myself. / This is my way to become healed again in body and spirit. If my work in any way can inflict on an other being in a way that can create contemplation or healing, it is a true gift and blessing. Thank you very much for joining me a moment in my reality. / ...roy

Captain Spaulding is a fictional character created by Rob Zombie and portrayed by Sid Haig in the films House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects Captain Spaulding was born on April 13, 1918 in Ruggsville, Texas with the name Johnny Lee Johns. He spent a small part of his childhood in the Ruggsville County home for orphaned boys until being adopted by a black family. Johnny Lee would soon grow very close to his adoptive brother Charlie. Johnny Lee developed an interest in sideshow deformities and violent crime photography, foreshadowing his Captain Spaulding persona. He began his murder spree as Mr. Ding Dong a Bo-Bo using his clown character’s name. Charlie would refer to him as Cutter after Johnny Lee stabbed a man to death, which he would take as his name. Around the fall of 1947, Cutter met Mother Firefly, who at the time took the alias Eve Wilson. She already had two children of her own, Rufus and Tiny. Cutter lived with Eve Wilson, even raising their daughter Vera Ellen together. During the summer of 1965, Otis B. Driftwood, wandered into Ruggsville County. He and Otis quickly became close companions and rivals. The two would often fight for control of the family. Otis was asked to live with the family; whom Otis called The Fireflys and it was he who also nicknamed Cutter, Captain Spaulding.
