I am an Irish born Missionary living in London I spend much time living with the Kambari tribe, I get to know first hand the challenges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occasions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition. This was taken in December 2007, and the difference is wonderful. Philadelphia Mission a British registered Charity [Reg No:1049410] depend on People like yourself, who donate time in Prayer and Finance to help us provide help and support for Grace and many others like her. Please do Pray for these precious suffering people in extreme poverty and for us as we press on in our mission to help them. I belive in the power of Prayer and a mighty God. This image is the 1st in a series of 3….. My inspiration behind this are all the lovely wedding images that I see; full of hope, happiness and love, but as we all know the divorce rate is very high and unfortunately many of the beautiful and happy couples divorce… It makes me wonder how would these couples feel if they knew that a few years down the road and a couple of children later, their union would end in divorce. These are the emotions I have tried to capture and portray in my series. And I would like to add a huge thank you to my model and best friend who was also my inspiration as she too recently divorced but was still brave enough to get back into her beautiful wedding dress for this shoot.

I was at an old church to shoot a christening and decided to run up to the balcony for a better view and there was this little girl ! I stopped at the doorway and shot this with my 200 prime lens. It turned out to be my fav shot of the day. I later found her family after asking around and sent them a copy of the painitng in exchange for permssion to use the image as I please. / This was painted in Photoshop CS2
