It began in photoshop7, playing with the colors of the chakras then slow motioned in Fractilius, to give it that aura feel… I am Woman / /

  • A bit of graffitti that caught my eye in Brooklyn, New York. I did some selective coloring and photo editing to clean it up a bit.

  • A re-post From a series where I work to express the deepest emotions, both positive and “negative”. This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it is many times worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and look into my world for a minute. Inspired by Brian Eno – Bonebomb Lyrics My body / So thin / So tired / Beaten for years / Ploughshare to bomb / So hard Bonebomb / Bonebomb / Bonebomb My town / So dusty / So dry / Buildings pushed over / Lives heat together / Young girls dreaming of beautiful deaths / Pop star pictures above their beds / Above their heads / Troops Everything stolen / Except my bones / Now I am only bone / I waited for peace / And here is my peace / Here in this still last minute of my life

  • “I thought my sins were all scarlet, I dreamed of running away… / It takes a heart as big as an ocean to wash a shipwreck to the shore.” Horse McDonald – Ship to Shore

  • From a series where I work to express the deepest emotions, both positive and “negative”. Armed with my Nikon D300 and a flashlight i made the ground layer in this composite. This image I feel maybe is better presented in form of a “painting”. Maybe i post the original later. Inspired by Mike Oldfield – Tears Of An Angel Lyrics to Tears Of An Angel : I wanna feel… / Can you give me? / Feel me? / Falling like rain are the tears of an angel. Can you feel me? / Feel me? / Falling like rain are the tears of an angel. I wanna feel… / Can you feel me? / Feel me? / Falling like rain are the tears of an angel. / Can you touch me? / Touch me? / Falling like rain are the tears of an angel. I wanna feel… [Chours] / I want more, I want more / I want more, I want more / I want more, I want more This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it is twice worth the effort. • I´m actually beautiful and full of light :) A new series My Guardian Angel A counterpart to the two series My Shadow and Me and The Animal in Me This is a composite. The first image is almost untouched, and is a “flashlightshot” with long exposure. The second is worked in Photoshop. Inspired by Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of the new day by Jethro Tull On of my all-time favorites both melody and … Lyrics :) Meanwhile back in the year One —when you belonged to no-one -- / you didn’t stand a chance son, if your pants were undone. / `Cause you were bred for humanity and sold to society — / one day you’ll wake up in the Present Day -- / a million generations removed from expectations / of being who you really want to be. Skating away — / skating away -- / skating away on the thin ice of the New Day. So as you push off from the shore, / won’t you turn your head once more —and make your peace with everyone? / For those who choose to stay, / will live just one more day -- / to do the things they should have done. / And as you cross the wilderness, spinning in your emptiness: / you feel you have to pray. / Looking for a sign / that the Universal Mind (!) has written you into the Passion Play. Skating away on the thin ice of the New Day. And as you cross the circle line, the ice-wall creaks behind — / you’re a rabbit on the run. / And the silver splinters fly in the corner of your eye -- / shining in the setting sun. / Well, do you ever get the feeling that the story’s / too damn real and in the present tense? / Or that everybody’s on the stage, and it seems like / you’re the only person sitting in the audience? Skating away on the thin ice of the New Day. This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it is twice worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and look into my world for a minute.

  • Two Long exposures with use of a flashlight. Layered in a composite in Photoshop Inspiration by “Arvo Part – Spiegel im Spiegel’ This is my way to healing and selfrealization. • Bedlam heartburn / A series where I try to approach the fear of insanity. I believe that this fear is collective and that we all have to face it sometime, one way or another. This is a composite. First image is almost untouched and created with long exposure with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS. For the image on the main layer I try to keep the Photoshop-work to a minimum to not loose the ethereal energy the method some times captures. Please view this !! / Inspired by this wonderful song by Ane Brun – This Voice Lyrics This voice / Is it calling / Is it calling / It’s your choice / She said / Take or let go / Is it calling / When you’re all alone / In your own sweet home / Is it calling / This voice / Is it calling I have to say / I choose get out of my way / Leave my ghost alone / Let me walk on by / Let me walk on by / Let me walk on by / Let me walk on by This voice / It is calling / It is calling for me / If you still haven’t heard it / You shouldn’t ask for it / You should just leave it be / ‘Cause you’re deaf until / The day for you it will / Be calling / This voice / It is calling This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it´s many times worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and look into my world of madness for a minute.

Self-portrait shot using a digital camera and remote control. Hair, styling, wardrobe and make-up also done by Jaeda DeWalt / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Available for sale as Laminated Prints, Cards, Matted Prints, Posters, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints / Image featured in Unconventional Artisty group on 5-2009 / Image featured in Your Accepted group on 5-2009 / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / ABOUT THIS IMAGE / This is the very first image in my Striped Emotions series. I am still working on the other images in this series. I like challenging myself in new ways, with my self-portraits. And i thought it would be interesting to see if i could make it look like i was interacting with myself . . . in some way. I shot this series against a green screen. The background was taken from a photo-shoot i did at an industrial site in Seattle, Washington. The watchman was kind of enough to let me onto the grounds and gave me a tour and all access pass with my camera. I wanted to convey the extreme sadness i feel with manic depression. Over the years i have discovered that sadness is often anger, spread really thin, masquerading as melancholy. Anger is an emotion i have a very difficult time allowing myself to feel and express, i often repress it. As a child i was not allowed to express my feelings or my anger. There is a detachment that comes with sadness, a disconnect from the self, from the world . . . BUT i am in a good place at the present moment and i am getting better at managing the emotional tidal waves that manic depression brings. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / You might also like . . . / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / View All Art » 1 2 3 4 5 6 browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /
