The footbridge in my last shot is close to the group of trees in the middle distance, and Embsay reservoir itself is on the right of shot. There are plans to re-extend the line back to Addingham (where a replica LMS Midland style train station is being planned for construction / as the old original station site has been redeveloped as housing) and also to Skipton where passengers can interchange with trains on the Airedale Line in the future.
