This is Burntside Lake in Ely, Minnesota. I spent a week there with this being the view out my cabin window. Each day the sunset was a little different or a lot different. This is my favorite of all of them.

Yes I know what you’re all thinking…It’s ANOTHER PET DOG!!!!! Don’t panic you arty farty types…it’s only up for a limited time whilst I make some cards for a friends present. I had no idea people would comment on it! I feel compelled to point out – as those who know me understand – my humour is very dry and ironic. Don’t take anything I say seriously! Taken in Ely – at nightfall…the setting sun was momentarily hidden behind this sign and I though it looked awesome – nothing has been touched in this shot – completely natural….which i found amazing to be in at the time.

Archie Manning, Louisiana Football Legend and father to three sons which have all excelled in Football. Peyton & Eli are standout Quarterbacks in the National Football League. Big brother Cooper was a great quarterback for Old Miss University – he had a very bad injury which prevented him from pursuing a career in professional football – He is a financial consultant in New Orleans Louisiana. This was captured at an art show I was a part of to raise money for MS (multiple sclerosis) / Cooper Manning MC’d the event, held at the Renaissance Arts Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, England, the seat of the Anglican Bishop of Ely. It is known locally as “the ship of the Fens”, because of its prominent shape that towers above the surrounding flat and watery landscape. The building is still in active use, and also houses a collection of stained glass from the 13th century to the present that is of national importance and includes works from notable contemporary artists like Ervin Bossanyi and others.
