At the moment I’m very interested in the mythological creatures – NYMPH being one of them . This one is an original acrylic painting mixed with gold leaves on canvas. The nymph represents the feminine aspect of nature. The masculine aspect is represented by the face in the leaves. The Aos Sidhe (pronounced “ess shee”), are a powerful, supernatural race comparable to the fairies or elves of other traditions. / They live in an invisible world that coexists with the world of humans. / The Gaelic Otherworld is seen as being closer at the times of dusk and dawn, therefore this is seen as a time special to the Aos Sidhe, as are some of the festivals such as Samhain and Midsummer. The Aos Sidhe are generally described as stunningly beautiful, though they can also be terrible and hideous. I cursed myself for walking too deep into the forest and missing seeing the sunset from the view point high on the hillside like i intended, but the evening rays brought colour to the forest like I wouldnt have imagined. / The forest is very much still in green, but the backlighting from the sunset has given such warmth to the leaves. What is so cool, about this is the tattoos at some point based on a magic ability she can perform her tattoos are then shown. Also I did a great job in my view of her elemental magic spell, that was cool. Oh well been working on it for almost a month.

The secret world of faeries and little forrest creatures…. One of them had an idea but he was not strong enough to do it on his own. They all said he was crazy but his friends helped him build the robot that enabled him to help the little penguin get back home… The journey is long and dangerous. Will he succeed?....

Sometimes the little forest creatures are sick and this is where the faeries are at their best. They know every little secret, potion or magic spell to make them all better again! Mummy mouse is very worried but everything is going to be okay soon. The ladybug is there as well but very little people see it which is the whole idea, of course. They always are around if someone needs a babysitter. The story must be very exciting! Remember, if you ever get sick or wounded in a forest, the little faeries will take care of you when they find you (they always do).

The caterpillar wasn’t feeling very well. Faeries tend to specialize in certain things and they have a magic gift – wisdom and knowledge. They make no distinction between great or small, fast or slow. Everybody and everything matters a lot! The caterpillanarian, who specializes in caterpillars, has arrived, and she will make sure that everything will be okay in no time. The forrest is watching, there’s faerie dust all around!

The party was over but some stayed longer than others. So much fun it was! Getting drunk on grapes is common for faeries. Especially if the grapes are soft and sweet, the effect can be very strong.

The Conclusion As the witch Qunal’s ashes lay burning in the field, what was left of the rescue party found it bittersweet. The wicked witch was dead; no longer to bring death and destruction to the countryside of the Elves, but the endeavor took its toll. Many in the party were dead from the spells that were cast by the now deceased witch, but mostly the Huntress was gone the very person they wanted to rescue was dead. The Bowman asked again, “Whose arrow was it, which struck the witch’s heart?” “It looked like the same arrow that the Huntress used, it had her markings!” he exclaimed. As they pondered on the subject the Warrior and the Bowman looked toward the path that lead into the woods, they both gasped, for there before them was the image of the Huntress and her bird companion, as they both glared the Huntress gave a small nod and waved as the bird encircled her, then quickly as the Huntress appeared, she then disappeared into the morning mist. “What does this mean?” The Bowman questioned. Holding back her tears the Warrior said; so very softly, “It means that she will always be protecting and watching over us.” So as the morning light was coming up over the forest, they both knew that the quest was finally over. / Larry Fridel This is the final piece for the Huntress Series.
