Quote by Antoine de Saint Exupery out of his Novel “Flight to Arras”
Elle, one of my favorite models I’ve worked with, She’d never done any modeling before this, but was a total natural, she managed to convey so many emotions and thoughts, looking forward to working with her again.
My explanation. / I tailored this to someone using a few details about her as the different elements. / Her name begins with L and she works as a builder. / I needed a straightedge to do the hacksaw blade. To neglect the absolutely straight line would have been unacceptable. / A hacksaw blade fitted the bill quite nicely, I don’t have a ruler. Might be an idea to get one. / I like things to look as real as possible so I looked on the net at hacksaw blades and found a lovely orange one with the words Bi-Metal on it. / I decided that’d work. The Times A was such a nightmare I had to find a suitable replacement. / The flower was going to make a pentagram but once I started doing the petals transparent I had to drop the idea and devote that patch solely to the flower. / I went a bit Vista on it. This delicious rose was made even more appealing by the rain drops. The Tacoma Garden show at Pt. Defiance Park was held the usual first week-end in June. It had been an unusually cold, wet and rainy month of May, so when the Garden Show opened, there was no way that I would have missed it. Armed in rain gear and umbrellas, I got some of the most memorable flower shots ever.

This beautiful, light pink rose would be the shining star in any landscape or indoor setting! / ELLE is favored amongst most florists, and its’ buds are the perfect attraction for any corsage, bouquet, or basket. Excellent disease resistance and very dense, glossy green foliage make this new rose a winner in any garden! / / Pink Roses have a very rich history of meaning and symbolism. Light pink roses have come to symbolize sympathy and grace, while dark pink roses stand for admiration and appreciation/gratitude. There have been many pictures of this walkway, (which frankly looks like a tunnel to me), from Antonio Gaudi’s Park Güell in Barcelona, Spain. I tried to capture it from a different aspect but you are so taken aback by the amazing stone structures that you lose yourself in it. Gaudi was strongly influenced by natural shapes and it’s quite apparent he used it in all of his architectural works. This walkway is supported by twisting rock pillars that appear to be growing out of the ground as tree trunks. The park itself is quite fascinating and you can easily spend a day there photographing it. Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi / Exposure Program: Manual / Exposure Time: 1/30 sec / F-Stop: f/5.60 / ISO Speed: 800 / No flash
