© Claire McAdams / ALL RIGHTS RESERVED / For less expensive high quality prints of this photo, click here Alternative title: Elf Girl This is yet another shot of Melissa but this one strikes me as just magical. I was really taken in by the green of the rock. I came close to deleting this while we were shooting because I thought it didn’t look cool but I am so glad that I didn’t.

The Changling – Dragon Tales Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find this on a walk in the forest! As a child I was given a book called The Butterflies Ball and I just adored the full page colour illustrations. I would stare for hours at the illustrations of fantastic creatures, it was wonderful fuel for the imagination of a child;) Image copyright © 2008 Shanina Conway. The dark elf rested on the rock face, taking the moment to wipe the last trace of blood from her blade. The dull light made her eyes ache, and she wished again that she was miles underground… Thanks to Kym Breeze for being an awesome sport and coming out with me for the day for a fantasy-themed photo session! She was a great model, not too demanding LOL!

Santa’s recruiting Detail / This piece was nominated by Ronnileigh to be showcased in Pay It Forward. Ronnileigh said: / The first time I seen “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” I fell in love with it. I can feel the emotion of the children, it tugged at my heart. The terror and tears just melted my heart. It looked to me the baby had cried itself to sleep from exhaustion. Then you have Santa looking mean and about to find them. This piece is so life like. Thank you so much, Ronnileigh, It’s a great honour to have my image chosen as your favourite work on RB.
