I took this shot in Africa

Spent a few days taking photos of the elephant seals in February 2009. They put on quite a show . . . pups being born, mom and pup getting acquainted, moms fussing over territory and pups, bulls fighting and mating.

While listening to a band named “Beirut” I was imagining a music video for the song Elephant gun and imagined a decorated Indian elephant being wound like a clock emptying all the chambers to the beat.
