I took this photo during the day in Park Slope (Brooklyn, NY). I did some photoshop playing around and created more of a haunted ‘at night’ sort of look. I love how it turned out—perfect for the forthcoming Halloween. :)
In this image is the representation of the dynamic dance of Gaia’s evolution. As the earth is transforming through elemental alchemy, so too are we bringing our hearts and minds into harmonic resonance in recognition of our Oneness. Gaia holds the Earth—her child—in an unconditional embrace though the sometimes firey birth pains that come when energies come into balance. / The act of creation requires the passionate fire of our heart to ignite our ideas into being, often bringing conflict and chaos in the process. As humanity opens itself to new possibilities of authentically interacting with ourselves, each other and the Earth, we have the opportunity to resist the old, fear-based patterns of reactivity. By showing up fully in each moment with receptivity and wonder, we are an extension of Gaia’s elemental alchemy—spiraling into a new found sense of freedom and higher integration. http://artservingspirit.com

The periodic table of elements
Quintessence: (in ancient and medieval philosophy) the fifth and highest essence (after the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water) thought to be the substance of the heavenly bodies and latent in all things.
Sometimes HDR just brings out such beatiful tones….Previous recent shots are non-hdr but this one, I do love for the tones and colors..Taken at Cape Schank a few days ago..thanks for having a look..
Plutarch a Greek scholar who lived in 46 C.E. wrote, Isis and Osiris, which is considered a main source about the very late myths about Isis. In it he writes of Isis: “she is both wise, and a lover of wisdom; as her name appears to denote that, more than any other, knowing and knowledge belong to her.” The shrine of Isis in Sais carried the inscription “I am all that hath been, and is, and shall be; and my veil no mortal has hitherto raised.” At Sais, however, the patron goddess of its Ancient Cult was Neith, many of whose traits had begun to be attributed to Isis during the Greek occupation. In The Golden Ass the Roman writer Apuleius later gives us his understanding of Isis in the second century. The following paragraph is particularly significant: “ You see me here, Lucius, in answer to your prayer. I am nature, the Universal Mother, Mistress of all the elements, primordial child of time, sovereign of all things Spiritual, Queen of the dead, Queen also of the immortals, the single manifestation of all gods and goddesses that are, my nod governs the shining heights of Heavens, the wholesome sea breezes. Though I am worshipped in many aspects, known by countless names … some know me as Juno, some as Bellona … the Egyptians who excel in Ancient learning and worship call me by my true name…Queen Isis. A Sunrise Over Golden Captured overlooking Golden, Colorado from Lookout Mountain / I went ahead and set the scene up and was thinking “Oh ya, maybe I should try using my filters!” and wallah, this is the outcome! It was a cold morning to say the least, and once again my damn tripod was like a flagpole one licks when it is below freezing lol You have to love the feel of cold, icy steel on bare skin! It is so much fun! NOT! lol But I think it was pretty much worth it. Featured in Style! Class! Elegance! – September 2009 / Featured in Your Magic PLACE – September 2009 Northern Currumbin Beach (Gold Coast, QLD – Australia) shortly after sunrise. This made for a great vantage point of the incoming tide, waters deeper with each passing minute. Many times in the middle of this shot I had to grab my camera & tripod and take a run from incoming waves crashing all over the rocky area in the midground and foreground, but only added to the excitement. Taken with a 450D & Sigma 10-20. 3 shots (EV -2, 0. +2) at f/22 and ISO 100. Processed with Photoshop CS4. My Images DO NOT Belong To The Public Domain. All images are copyright © Jason Asher.
