  • I thought I could photograph an everyday scene of children / returning from school on a beautiful Los Angeles day enhanced / by pristine white clouds. These two school buses are exiting / an off ramp of the freeway on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. / I did see a creature in the sky that / looked like he was holding a case or envelope, but decided to / not let me imagination drift into another otherworldy story. / That is when I remembered the stories of the Magic School Bus / that are very popular books for school age children. / Interesting things always happen on Ms Frizzles trips with her / class. One story is about Ms Frizzle’s class that is going on the / most boring trip to the waterworks. At least that is what their / teacher has planned until her class discovers how interesting / things always happen on Ms Frizzle’s trip. After going through / a tunnel, all the kids find themselves in scuba diving outfits. / Then on the top of a bridge the bus rises up in the air and / into a cloud. Once in the cloud, the class finds that water / droplets are growing, and they are shrinking. Then the class / rains and lands in the water purification system. Eventually / it takes them back to Walkerville Elementary, where they come / out of the faucet in the girls’ bathroom. / Later they see the bus outside and wonder how it returned / from the cloud. The stories have been developed as creative / computer software that are amusing and informative. Maybe / next time I will be able to upload a photograph without / entering other worlds. On the other hand, I love to write / imaginative and wacky stories and recommend children’s / books that I have collected over the years and have an / extensive collection of my favorite fairy tales and amusing / and wonderful children’s books that I cherish. / I have many books to share and pair with my photographs. / Imaginative literature for children has some of the best / illustrators and writers that create extraordinary art and stories. / Please view in large format to appreciate the imagery, / especially the beautiful cloud formations.
