  Just checking in today and I discovered that the wonderful Nori Bucci just purchased a print of Elegance! I told Nori, when I thanked her personally, that this couldn’t have come on a better day. Mouse is going to the vet hospital this afternoon and possibly to surgery…unless I can talk the vet out of it! I’m worried sick and Nori, you have no idea how much you’ve helped me this morning. Thank you!!!! I hope that the print brings you much enjoyment. /

  Thought I would capture this small series. Simple images within the new freeway nearby. These minimalist lights have always appealed to me. Wide open spaces unsullied by vehicles yet. Exhibited images in b/w, originals taken in colour. / Thought that this just added to the minimalism.

  Just wanted to add that I’ve checked other similar sites to redbubble. You guys do it best. The design of the site is elegant, streamlined, and classy. The community is supportive. My very first childhood playmate is a writer. I want to get her to join and start posting. She’s already a redbubble addict. She emailed me today with a comment on redbubble. Said that she spends hours looking at all of the art. She’s fascinated with the depth to the talent pool. This from a person who’s mainly verbal.

  I purchased another beautiful print from Sande Elkins this week titled “Seeing Spots”. It is a very tranquil image of Black and White horse against a misty background. Sande is, in my opinion, one of the worlds finest equine photographers and we are so lucky to be graced with her work here at RB. Her humble response to my purchase is what prompted me to write this entry. (Please view “Seeing Spots” here; http://www.redbubble.com/people/sandeelkins/art/1967418-2-seeing-spots ) I first purchased her “Elegance” print a few months back / When the image arrived, I was in awe of how perfect it really is….the pose, the sharp focus, the rich B/W tones…and I knew I’d be back to purchase many more from her. / (to view Elegance; http://www.redbubble.com/people/sandeelkins/art/697427-4-elegance ). I believe Sande’s work stands out from the rest because of her true love of horses. That really shines through brilliantly when she photographs them…there is just an atmosphere there that could only be achieved by having that deeper sense of the subject. Her images have an ethereal, sometimes fairy-tale quality about them. Even if you aren’t necessarily a horse person, Sande’s images have the power to turn you into one!
