Watercolour on paper. I’ve scanned this at twice the size and 600dpi so it will have great prints. This is one of my very favourite watercolours and it sold quickly. I knew I’d miss this one which is why I did such a hi res scan.

Guache on Illustration Board / 14×29cm Lots of little pieces of symbolism throughout – the devil who seems quite happy with him/her self sits on a dead log (that just happens to have two live leaves) fishing out someone’s heart. The person who’s been snagged is looking quite helpless but seems quite good at walking on water. There’s also a lone apple hanging from the branch overhead.

I was playing around with filters in photoshop one day and got this. I love it and it shows off the personality of a bichon so well – haughty, regal, an “I deserve all the attention you are going to bestow on me for I am bichon” type of thing. It also really heightens the whole “i look like a soft toy crossed with a baby seal” thing they have going on. Now…if only I could remember which filters in what order!!

This is a photoshopped version of a watercolour I did a couple of years ago. I started back then to do a lot of botanical work and will upload more as I have time. The original sold to a private collector not long after I finished it, which in a way was sad as it was one of my very favourites. The original is watercolour on paper.
