I was unsure what to expect before visiting Paris, but when I arrived there I soon fell in love with the place. This view was shot from near the top of…......where else but that big steel tower. The day was wet and overcast but quite humid as it was in the middle of Summer in Europe. Will have to re-visit this town again one day and hopefully see lots of thing I missed the first time around. / The image above represents exposure from 3 bracketed frames 1 stop apart in shutter speed. eg, f11 @ 1/1000th, 1/500th and 1/125th. (under exposed + correctly exposed + over exposed. / I have some info about HDR at my pbase if your interested

This wider dynamic range allows HDR images to represent more accurately the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to faint starlight.[1] The two main sources of HDR imagery are computer renderings and merging of multiple photographs, which in turn are known as low dynamic range (LDR)[2] or standard dynamic range (SDR)[3] images. Tone mapping techniques, which reduce overall contrast to facilitate display of HDR images on devices with lower dynamic range, can be applied to produce images with preserved or exaggerated local contrast for artistic effect.
