An ol world offering of the Farmer’s table.
I like this better with the softer background…and it fits in with the rest of the set of cards from the Calendar
Favorite saying of a friend of mine… just had to make it into a shirt!

A shy eggplant flower. The waterdrops are not from rain, I had just started to water them and then actually looked at these flowers, so managed to get wet on a hot dry day taking photos of them. Yes, the eggplants tasted very nice too Camera:Olympus FE240 compact – macro setting, untouched.
This is the second image in a new series I have begun called the “Meditation Series”. Each painting in this new series will explore a different spiritual principle. With this painting I explored the spiritual principle of playfulness. I painted these beautiful eggplants with a light and happy heart, I paid no mind to rules or restrictions, I simply painted for the pure JOY of it. I had a blast splishing and splashing in the paint like a child jumping in mud puddles on a rainy day. This was a great exercise and also a great reminder that life is truly about finding JOY in every single moment and I will remember the freedom and bliss I felt while creating this image and I carry those sensations with me throughout this day. I hope you enjoy looking at the images in this series as much as I enjoy painting them. Meditation Series: Active Non-Resistance / Meditation Series: Playfulness / © AmandaGWright 2009.
Felt tip pen on catrtidge paper 2009 I was poking around the veggie garden the other day, to see if we were EVER going to get any eggplants (apparently not) and the leaves really intrigued me. I took one inside and later that week was doodling away at work….this is the result.
Well you know I have had a guilt complex thinking poor veggies felt as though I had forgotten them and they were not important, so today off to the store I go to buy plenty of veggies for this image…now you have the best of both worlds, fruits and veggies…”-)
Part of the farmers market series – guaranteed to make you think about eating healthier. :)
for Enivea … told you had an idea ;o))
fusion between a pepper bell and an eggplant … does it make a ratatouille?
