Right in the middle of Newtown is this huge and completely ruined building. Its been there so long and been so completely neglected for so long that the locals no longer notice it. The graceful old lines of the architecture had allowed this building to decay with style. Eventually some developer will come along and convert the site to lots of tiny apartments and all that will remain will be some funny old photos like this one. Taken with infrared film and finished off in photoshop. I love photoshop and I love infrared film. I hope that you the viewer will like to look at this small series of building photos.

I did this painting a few years ago and decided to crop it and digitally alter it slightly for Red Bubble. It’s a deeply spiritual work that was born out of emotional and spiritual turmoil. It represents life, death, light, darkness, despair, happiness, vulnerability, shame, confidence. good, evil, war and peace. We all have free will and freedom of choice. It is up to us to choose whether we will go through life in darkness or in light. /

Originally this was a drawing but it has been transformed in the computer to form a glassy frame to say Hi. The effect is like the Hi is a pebble dropped in water. Could be useful as a card to introduce yourself to a new neighbour or as a postcard for someone who might be jealous of where you have been.

just for something completely different I thought I’d post an image taken with a tiny plastic panorama camera. I really do love my toy cameras and find them ever so much fun…. and as they all take film….. its right up my particular alley….. this dreamy shot is taken at a tiny pocket park on Sydney Harbour in Lavender Bay right next to a friend of mines place. / The soft diffuse light effect is not a photoshop filter and was done in camera by holding a funny stirated bit of plastic ( other wise know as a rainbow filter ) over the tiny plastic lens of the camera while shooting….... its been cleaned up a bit on PS and resized etc but that is all the extra fiddling it’s had. / On balance I’d rather shoot what I see in my mind in the camera than spend time tweaking it about later with the same old same old software every one else uses…. anyway its a bit of something completely different…... don’t want you all to get bored now…...:) here it is framed….. / / probably best viewed large….... enjoy

From one of Our day trips a few weeks ago. / I can’t wait to get out again, going nuts at home. / Taken At Fort Constitution State Park In Portsmouth NH Used Panasonic DMC-FZ30 Camera Use Fotoskecter for the Oil painting effect. / it was already that blue… someone forgot to change the WHITE BALANCE and had if for CFL ( indoor light ). / In Order to take this Photo, I had to hang over the edge outside a hole in the Fort. / Yea i was little nervous hanging out that hole.. / But my Hubby to be had my feet !! / There are many names to this Lighthouse Fort Constitution Light, Fort Point Light, and Newcastle Light.
