Beautiful cut letterforms with polished faces and brushed returns. These guys bring out the type nerd in me.

The background is a tree at Melaluca Station near Kingscliff NSW. The trees are clipped into pointy hat shapes but I took this shot looking up into the branches from underneath. / I used several layers for the face in order to get a slightly see-through face but with eyes that only show the tiniest whisper of the background.

One of my Easter Egger Roosters. Often called EE this is not a true breed like the Ameraucana but most of them lay pretty green eggs if they are hens. Of course this rooster can’t lay eggs but he can pass the colored egg laying genes on to his chicks.
