  • Jason was our cat before Mao. He lived to 13 but survived the last two years of his life with three legs. That didn’t stop him climbing fences though. FEATURED BY CATS AND DOGS GROUP – 1st October 2009

  • To All My Guides, Who Work To Inspire Me Catharine Crowe once said.. / A great many things have been pronounced untrue and absurd, and even impossible, by the highest authorities in the age in which they lived, which have afterwards, within a very short period, been found to be both possible and true. / Painting with acrylics, pigment and gold leaf. Painted in January 2007

  • I did this six years ago, using watercolour, then coloured pencils on top. FEATURED IN INSIDE SOLO GROUP – 7th September 2009 Here is a fantasy version I recently did based on this and another drawing of mine.

  • As I’ve just uploaded Chameleon II, I thought I’d show you Chameleon I as well.

  • Well, what more is there to say about John’s work? Hes just totally amazing. http://www.redbubble.com/people/johne

  • A t-shirt for Edward fans ;) My niece introduced the “Twilight” series of books to me. It’s a series which seems to be aimed at fans of the Harry Potter books who are now going through puberty. It’s vampires and werewolves meet Mills and Boone. The main character is a 108(?) year old teenage vampire who sparkles in the sun and whose character seems to turn otherwise sane and intelligent young lasses into a bubbling mass of teenage hormonal obsession.

  • The second last picture for the calendar collaboration between John Edwards and myself… one more to go! http://www.redbubble.com/people/johne

  • I’ve just finished reading Stephenie Meyer’s series Twilight, which I greatly enjoyed. My sister really wanted a Twilight t-shirt but the official ones are really really bad so I figured I’d just make one for her. I have a feeling copyright laws prohibit me from having it for sale though…. hmmm how do I have it viewable but not for sale…

  • I started this painting many years ago and never finished it. I’ve been working on it recently and here it is; hence the date 2008 on it. My wife and I and our children spent a happy afternoon at Stoke Bruerne and even went on one of the barges. We passed the famous barge used in the English children’s TV series Rosie and Jim, which sort of dates this painting. FEATURED IN FIRST THINGS GROUP – 14th September 2009

  • After my last butterfly picture Dimarie suggested I do another one. I enjoy drawing bricks and stones, so I decided to see if butterflies could be made from coloured bricks :) They can … and they can fly … well, in my little world they can :) I must mention that my wife, Trish, thought of the title, “brickerflies”. FEATURED BY NOT WHAT IT SEEMS – 28th March 2009 FEATURED BY AVANT GARDE GROUP – 15th September 2009

  • I took a liking to a sculpture of a nanny goat when I was at the Picasso Museum in Paris and decided to do a drawing based on it. I don’t know if Picasso would have approved, but I had great fun doing it. The original is called Nanny Goat (Chevre) and was sculpted in 1950, the year I was born. I used A3 paper and coloured pencils. FEATURED BY THE EXCEPTIONAL EKPHRASIS GROUP – 13th November 2008 FEATURED BY INSPIRED ART – 31st March 2009 / FEATURED BY ONLY KIDDING GROUP – 10th August 2009 /

  • Desire

  • All done! / My own version of the famous sparklepire.

  • As some of you may have gathered, I am going through an experimental stage at present, trying new things … well, new for me anyway :) This is an acrylic painting I just completed today. I plan to do more acrylic painting in the near future. I also plan a few more coloured pencil pictures soon. FEATURED IN ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW – 31st August 2009 FEATURED IN ACRYLIC PAINTING GROUP – 3rd September 2009

  • The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea / In a beautiful pea green boat, /

  • Painting number 250! Another of my efforts to combine design with scenery. You are either passing through in a helicopter and seeing an ancient castle on a cliff top, or you are maybe standing at the top of a lighthouse viewing a strangely fossilised ship passing through. The choice is yours :) FEATURED IN THE ESCHER AND PERSPECTIVE ART GROUP – 3rd March 2009 FEATURED IN THE COLOURED PENCIL ART GROUP – 8th July 2009

  • Shot a couple months ago in Prince Edward County at Carrying Place. Handheld 3 exposure HDR

  • Love Twilight, Bella, Edward, Jacob, the Cullen family and everything vampire? If you do, our Love, Peace, Twilight T-Shirt, which features heart, a peace sign and an apple will thrill you. Great gift for any Twilight fan. Fun to wear to Twilight Conventions, to the New Moon Movie premiere or just out and about.

  • Here’s one I had on Redbubble a few months ago and took off ‘cos it didn’t get enough viewings. I thought I’d try again as I have more people watching me now. It’s a stylised iguana made to look like a dragon. It’s ink by the way.

  • In the days when I sold prints of my pen and ink work, this sold 1,000 prints, of which 90 were framed and mounted, or logically speaking, mounted then framed :) It was the most popular drawing I ever did. For almost twenty years I have mused over whether it sold so well because the view had nostalgic value to the purchasers, or whether any artistic merit entered into the the equation. By uploading it onto Redbubble I may soon have a better idea, because none of you will be familiar with this view and will hopefully judge it on its merit as a drawing. Chris Baker of Redbubble has sent me this link to another view of the ferry .. many thanks Chris :) FEATURED IN FIRST THINGS GROUP – 26th July 2009 FEATURED IN HAND PAINTED OR DRAWN BUILDINGS AND ARCHITECTURE – 28th July 2009
